Is it more worth it to keep the money in say asnb with 6% interest and pay by potongan gaji , or pay off lum sum and get 20% discount

U know what is flat rate financing vs floating rate financing or not? Talk is easy without using brain
*
Why not? Merely an example
Why is it hard? A loan is a loan.. dn talk it like so difficult like need brain to repay.

If you keep the ptptn loan at 1% and place the money in asn at 6%, your gain 5% each year....if you pay up now, you get a 20% discount.....if your loan is due to finish within 4 years, just settle and take the 20%....if still more than 4 years to go, you will gain more keeping the money in asn....assuming the dividend rate stays the same....

hopefully this means the banks can ask u to pay ur 2k house instalment to 4k instalment as they please since there is precedent set liao. simple ktard logic. u shudnt take a house loan if u cant repay it.. shud cash pay it

Nie pundek. Honor the agreement. Aku bayar hutang aku. Apa yg PH buat serupa Along. Janji honor agreement bayar 200 for 10 years. Suddenly farkup somewhere, come back, ask for extra. Lets ask bank to do it for u.. loan 10 taun. Mintak bayar 5 taun. Makan pasir? Sembang kencang...tgk pada situasi la kuda.. klu jilat pun.. banggang...

At present, 1.4 million out of 2.9 million PTPTN borrowers have not fulfilled their loan repayments.

We all have to make adjustments, just like when banks increase their base rate.

Evil government like PH is competing with USA to bankrupt their citizens with federal student loans.

Then : PH should punish those delinquent payees, not those abide by the satipulated contracts . This is extremely unfair to ask people to cough off 2.5X-3X of normal monthly payments for 10 years with 27 days notice.

Almost no country in the world raise their base lending rate by 20000 basis points(200%) overnight.

you... you might be onto something here.
when I owe somebody money I became restless all the time.

imagine holding onto a loan for so long...

You are raised not to handle debt well, categorizing every single individual into one is an unfair judgment.

If you are in middle class, try to buy a comfortable house without bank loan in view you could not imagine holding onto a loan for so long.

i agree if this rate is for those who don't pay according to schedule, or have outstanding amount that need to be cleared. otherwise, no.

Just asking. Did your ptptn loan account suddenly got “insurance” portion ?

It wasn’t in the agreement when I sign up.

punish the defaulters not those that have been paying diligently over the years.
