just be patient girl.....you will need with shift hours since you are under UK dep and HSS pay is not bad compare to other dep....salary 2.4k to 2.9k gua or maybe more if add on with shift allowance and language allowance....most of the job here are routine and definitely not sale.....hss is gbm for your information....I can't comment bout safety as I working in cyber and the KL site may shift to cyber in anytime because HSBC is saving cost...a lot of internal transfer are ongoing as a lot of processes had or going to migrate to other country like India and Philippine.....pray hard to secure the job as I said a lot of internal transfer ongoing.....try other industry other than bank if you fails this interview.....all the banking industry are restructuring to streamline the process or in other word saving cost...hope that my words helped you...

UK hours mean you will be leaving office at almost 2 AM every day.

Safety wise, no comment.

Anywhere can be dangerous.

Better to pick a job that works from 9 to 5 if you are so worried.

Be positive, if you go with that mindset, u wont stay long anywhere.

Honestly, try another bank, many info available abt it in this subforum.

Hsbc call center is not income generating. U wont be appreciated

the job description is very confusing sometimes. why don't u ask clearly during interview whether it's a contact center or processing job.
one of my colleague was offered the GSE post, then later find out it's actually call center. before that she doesn't even know and thought it's a processing job.
pity her struggling to do the job, got scold by customer some more every day because very sluggish.. end up she resigned after few months.

Depends on which process you get. There are call centre, processing, operations, risks, IT there.
