Attend calls? Likely.

Do sales? Nah, that's not what you would normally do.

Call center? Nope. More like a back end processing for banks.

UK department starts work at 4 PM and finish around 1 AM.

Do you think it is safe to go home at 1 AM? You decide.

Er..hundreds of employee going back at 1-5am here everyday. Not good enuf? Might not be 100% safe but its not 90% danger either

Hi guys, I got called about the HSBC Securities Services (Executive) position.

I'm a fresh grad (Actuarial Science, UTAR).

Just wondering, what's the job scope like? To confirm, this is not a call centre position right? The job posting is at Bursa Malaysia.

What kind of a starting salary should I be expecting? What's the feedback like on HSS?

Thanks!

Nothing much. Just some general stuff about you - where you live, are you ok with working shift, what you studied, past working experience. Then they ask why you want to work here, and what's different about HSBC.

I did. I passed this stage. There is an online assessment afterwards, also quite straightforward (but very, very long-winded questions!). I have an interview next week. I also got a few other interviews, but I'll just go for it for experience sake, unless I got a concrete job offer by then.

May I know, HR will do the background check before the assessment/interview or after that? Usually, what kind of background check did they try to find out? Backlisted? Previous working experience/employee? How long does it take for this process?

I have  been waiting for almost 2 weeks since my last line manager interview. Maybe it's because of Raya celebration but then it take too long. Should I just call them?

Sorry for asking too much questions. Really appreciate if someone can answer those questions.. Uhuhu... Thanx...
*
hi @rendevous. If I may ask, did you finally get the offer? How long did you wait until you get the final result on whether they offer you or not?
