Hi, I also received a call on Thursday and he asked me go for an interview on next Thursday which is 22 April 2012. He told me basically I will be serve customers from China, Taiwan or Hong Kong, however the email that I received that state I need to serve customer from US, UK, or Canada which is really confused me.

Because people could be doing either or both even in the same team. Global banking truly is a global business. You may not know for sure until you are fully trained - and if they're busy, it could be both. And of course no one can ever be fully trained as there will be heaps you don't yet know, and new products and systems.

hye guys, i want to know, basically I passed all the interview and the interviewer said that I needed to wait for the HR to call. I even asked the interviewer is he gonna hire me? then he said he'll hire me, but for now the HR needed to proceed to another process like checking with bank negara if i have a dept or have commit with crime before this. N I just needed to wait within 2 weeks he said. So now the question, is everyone really needed to wait for the HR's call and wait or what? Btw, i applied for GSE position in cyberjaya. I'm quite nervous though, coz why needed two weeks to make someone wait? if the HR didn't call and we people just waited like menunggu bulan jatuh ke riba, then whats up? hmm.gif

Hi.

For back end processing position.

What are the working days?

Working hours?

Anyone took buses from K.L?

Besides DTS Cyberjaya.

As an employee...free transportation by HSBC?

Transportation provided from pick up point to work place?

Answer to ->

Question #1 & 2 - Depends on your department, which means you need to check with HR once they confirm you got the job.

Question #3, 4, 5 - Yes, it's free for HSBC staff because HSBC pays for it. DTS has a lot of pick up points around KL, even down til Nilai & Seremban. You need to check for the updated pick up points with HR though to be sure. And, a lot of people do take the DTS buses because it is very convenient.

Thank you so much.

Was about to attend an interview last Saturday but...you know...can not even enter K.L.

Will look for a house/apartment closer to Cyberjaya if necessary.

Renting a place in Cyberjaya itself might not be cheap. Do look around a lot before deciding ya.

What IF, I want to reject the assessment or perhaps postpone it. Will it affect my future application with HDPM? Any advice?

Going for the assessment this coming tuesday,
was wondering, will there be any technical questions on banking & finance?

Cheers.
