No, Esim can be Primary.
Mine is set to be Primary with no physical sim currently.

How long did it take you at the counter today?

There is no proper SOP on this.
So far the main line can convert and in some cases, the mainline has to get a new share line

I noticed Maxis service centre says they only provide eSim for Huawei Watch , so alot of iPhone owners just say that they need the eSim for the watch and then use it on the iPhone .

Not long. Just 10mins of waiting. Mine replacement for current no. Immediately after i left the counter, take out my iPhone from my pocket and saw my physical sim no longer working

nice , i hope Digi will also start providing eSIM as well soon . Feeling left out

Apply is very simple but u need to have internet connection via wifi.

Just go to settings and then cellular and then add cellular plan. After that just scan the QR code given inside the esim pack.

But Im having a poor connection after changing to esim 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️. It show 4G but very hard to browse etc. Already reset network etc but still the same.

My other phone with me using maxis can get very fast connection (20-30mbps via speedtest) but my iPhone only get 3-4mbps and so slow eventho that speed.

did u try take out the sim car from another phone put in to ur E sim iPhone , it works with dual sim?
