I have no interest at TM other than being a normal consumer like everyone here

I am just speaking from the shoe of a normal employee as I do make mistakes in my job too
*
We all make mistakes. That is ok. Question is whether this was really a mistake by an employee, or was it a direction from management to do so. Then they claim it was a mistake. See my previous post for why it does *not* seem to be a mistake from my point of view.

Edited with *not*.

Maybe some agent / reseller here can say whether they were also told about the change in price. That would show there was a directive.

On this site:
https://unifi.online/

It is stated:

" * Promotion prices are valid for the first 24 months. On 25th month onwards, prices will be reverted to normal price. UniFi Advance 30Mbps - RM199, unifi plan 100Mbps - RM159, unifi plan STB 100Mbps - RM189. "

So its not just a error in the FAQ. Unless agents / resellers are always reading the FAQ and updating their info.

This is the screenshoot from same website @ 2018.09
I just wonder "what is the MSAP" ,is the RM159 still the price under MSAP, if so, then i think users can do nothing about it.
*
Thanks for that. Yes, previously you can see the 30M package has 2 prices - normal and promo. Because that one is valid only for 24 months like those Bonanza days. But the 100M packages only has one price per package. Unlike today where the site shows a normal price and promo price for all packages. Anyway, hopefully all is settled now, until the next issue comes up...

Added:

BTW, the next issue could be the missing no quota until end of year and missing add-on quota from next year for 30M Basic from the FAQ.

So, the issue is about Streamyx users. Supposed to give report next week. But already give report so soon. What could have been discussed or planned this fast? Nothing. Just take what has already been said and re-report it and say here is the response.

This is the usual answer just for the sake of answering, not actually addressing the issue. Everyone knows you cannot just replace copper with fibre infra as it takes time to do so. Everyone knows they have already said they will increase speed for Streamyx if possible. Everyone knows they will migrate Streamyx to Unifi if available.

Streamyx users mostly would have moved to Unifi if their area is covered. Even if not yet, they have the option to do so. Streamyx users would have upgraded their package if higher port speeds were available. Even if not, they have the option to do so.

The issue is for those who are not in Unifi area. The issue is for those who do not have higher speed ports. And mainly the issue is of Streamyx pricing which is high for the speed that is offered. The issue is Streamyx users wanting a reduction in price. 1M Streamyx cost RM110 while 100M Unifi costs RM129.

Not one word mentioned about pricing, which is the main issue.

It is hard to believe they don't understand what the users are asking for. It is hard to believe they are so ignorant. It is easier to believe that they are just brushing aside and ignoring what the real issue is on purpose. It is easier to believe they are taking users and the authorities on a ride on the super highway...

btw only selected users which also have higher speed ports available are upgraded, similar to turbo. sadly 8mbps is available in my area but i cant fork out rm160/mth sad.gif im on rm140 4mbps no free upgrade....
*
Really? Have you found out the reason from them? Because of your price they don't want to give 8M? Like the turbo 500M instead of 800M? Any idea what is the selection criteria?

if switch from 100Mbps rm129 now, will the price will up to rm159 after 24 months?

anyone has the best settings for utorrent to share that can maximise the speed of 100Mbps?
*
They have removed the #12 price increase and its now the previous termination feee.

They have added #14 now about pricing.

Yes correct. My bill no more rm2 rebate for this month.
*
I guess depending on how many users use autopay, they can earn back some extra RM every month. If 500K users use it, thats RM1M every month extra.

a new TM horror has landed.

seems this new horror is targeted at those turbo-ed to 800mbps.

my case was:

before turbo 299+60-180 = 179, after turbo 329+60-140=249.

but same as case above, net diff = incr rm70.

reported twice, nothing yet.

will see if next bill is same or adjusted accordingly.
** btw, are we sure we did not sign a clause that says "i agree right of unifi to change price or discount anytime they wish without conditions, with or without contract..."!!
*
Almost all service like this when we subscribe is basically on their terms. You either rtake it or leave it. How many people read any terms when installing software or signing up for service. Most just say "Agree" and continue because you want the service no matter what the terms say. And most of these agreements say they can change terms when they like. This is not as if both parties discuss terms that are agreeable to both sides then only signup.

Now all bill kelam kabut...

Rm2 discount rebate for auto pay gone.
Rm130 perpetual discount become rm120 discount.

Can we do something about this?

I'm sure there is law regarding this matter.
*
For the autopay RM2 removal, they already notified previously.

so it's confirmed my monthly bill is RM159, turbo to 500Mbps with Ultimate pack, perpetual discount is Rm130

was paying 189 for 100Mbps with Ultimate and Ruby.

anyone know if l can downgrade my ultimate to ruby to get rm30 off ?
*
That seems like what others have ie RM229 500M - RM130 discount + RM60 Ultimate = RM159.
This does not have STD20 right?

QUOTE(YoungMan @ Nov 19 2018, 02:09 PM)
They should have done the right thing by standardising the pricing from 30mbps to 800mbps first, and then let customer decide which plan they want to go for either upgrade or downgrade. Now they have promised the sky and the moon and it certainly further mess up their billing. Forsee more problem coming.
*
When you are not in the habit of doing the right thing most of the time, it is very difficult to do the right thing when there is a need to do so...

Not me, my residential Hush speed internet is RM 219.
The promo discount amount of RM 130 not applied anywhere so this is going to cost them!

Do you have a proper full month bill you can post after removing personal details?

Not quite sure what your package is, but I guess its:
RM219 -120 discount = RM99, then add RM30 or RM60 for pack?
Comes back to same as RM229 - 130 discount.

This. The bill from August 2018.
*
Well, it does seem like its
RM219 - RM120 + RM60 = RM159
which is same total as
RM229 - RM130 + RM60 = RM159

I think if your customer portal shows RM130 discount instead of RM120, they will just adjust package RM219 to RM229 and adjust discount RM120 to RM130. Comes to the same.
Or they will adjust customer portal discount to RM120 instead of RM130.

The price is on a downtrend, they are only going to raise ait a little while more before it all drops down. But the discount is perpetual so should have a greater effect imho. I could be wrong or the discount would be moot if I switch ISP. But sticking it to them now.
*
The discount is subject to change, especially if there is a change in your package. They change the discount figures to keep the total the same in some cases. We have seen that from many users here. Let us know the outcome if you get some answer from them about this.

My rm120 unifi 30mbps free upgrade from streamyx.

Is it possible ask tm deduct rm20 become rm100, by choose dont want the tv box and free call.

Anyone successful do that?
*
The UnifiTV cannot be removed. The STD20 free calls, check your customer portal to see what it shows under the Voice section.

Added:

If you got STD20 for free, then they are not going to reduce price if you remove it. So no point.

Sure.
You give promo discount then you don't apply it. I think if I escalate it to kpdnk then they'd be in trouble, no? I'm pretty sure I am not the only one.
*
I doubt it. If your total bill is the same, I guess it does not matter how they arrived at the figure. They have said before, if package changes, discount can change. Perpetual is only for that time that package is in effect.

For example, last time 100M could be RM299 - RM200 discount. Then you switch to the new 100M package. Surely that does not mean the RM200 perpetual discount is still applicable. Or if you got turbo, and they package price is changed, the discount will also be changed.

Added:

Your package changed when you got turbo. What was your package price before the turbo? Was it RM219 also?
I think your turbo price should show as RM229 like others. It shows RM219 for some reason. But total is same as others.

Didnt they say the rest with remain intact apart from speed bump?
*
The rest what? The prices?
Well, 100M used to show as RM299. After 800M turbo, it shows as RM329. But the adjust discounts and this and that and eventually the total is the same as you used to pay. So...?

What am I missing here? Isn't the total we pay the most important thing?

Edited:
RM229 to RM299.

I disagree. In this case the discount was never applied properly. How they arrive at the final sum is another matter.
Latest bill for October also shows the same pre discount price and erroneous discount ( too much of a hassle to rejig that photo sorry).

Bottomline is they misapplied a discount and now are in arrears by rm150 if my calculations are correct, that's nearly a month's service fee. Worth a try, I'd say.
*
By all means, go ahead and report. I'm not trying to stop you. Just trying to make sense of it. Not sure how your bill was before turbo. This is also the result of them having so many variations from before.

No worries, bro. Just wanted to share.
Pre turbo
Residential HSI (219-120)=99 + Unifi tv Ultimate (60)=159
Post turbo the same.
Turbo only upgrades the speed nothing else.

I have nothing to lose by trying.
Agree with you, all these different levels of pricing is all TM's tacit approval of agents sales tactics.
*
Since your bills before and after turbo the same, I think this is what happened. Your customer portal was updated to RM130 discount. Because your billing should then be updated to RM229 - 130 like for others But looks like your billing wasn't. Because the total for your package was the same anyway. Probably mistake on their part.

Go ahead and try. You won't lose anything if they correct it all. You will gain if they make another mistake and adjust it for you. Be ready for them

Added:

Sorry, can I clarify one thing. Your discount in customer portal always was showing RM130 even before the turbo? Or it was RM120 then changed to RM130 after turbo?
