Aside from drinking lots of milk at once or chuck down protein milk shake , I couldn’t find anyway to suppress my appetite recently. I still go to gym 3-4 times a week.

I can basically go on and eat rm100-200 these days by having 2 lunch and 2 dinners and tons of snacks.

For example.
1. 1 family mart ice cream + korean kimchi ramen today at 11am
2. Mix rice + pork noodle soup + 2 half boiled egg at 1 pm
3. Llao llao yogurt ice cream in evening
4. Tokyo secret cheese tart
5. For dinner at 8 pm , 8 chicken wings + fries + Cole zero
6. After that, ate chee cheong fun + hainan chicken breast rice

I felt that after my bulk which I increased from 2500 all the way to 3500/4000, my appetite have gone haywire and suprisingly my metabolism seemed to be in line with my daily binge eating ( my basal metabolic rate is 1750 on hospital screening 3 years ago, that’s the weird part) . I did not gain much weight or anything from these binge eating while still maintainaing my abs and lean body at around 11-12% body fat.

However I felt that all these unhealthy diet is stressing out my body and organs. I got to fix it quick / reduce my metabolism back to normal level. Don’t want anything bad to happen when my body report comes out in future .

Thank you everyone! Hope to hear some secret / bro science technique to suppress appetite . For me chugging down tons of similar food or liquid seems to be the best way to turn me off but I’m getting sick of it.

IDK man, some people seem to be able to eat crap and still look good. I think you have great genetics. But if it bothers you so much, just incorporate more fruits and veges into your diet because I don't see you eat much of them.

Well....other than the ice cream and ramen.... not too bad of a diet actually.

Since calorie and fullness is a factor for you.
https://nutritiondata.self.com/topics/fullness-factor

Read up fullness factor, satiety index. There’s lots of list for food high in fullness factor and low calorie. From the list there and elsewhere, plan your snacks around it. Your main meals seem fine. Or perhaps tweak the main meals a bit and there might be no need for snacks if that is your concern.

Dude,

the guys here who asked you to eat vege and fruit etc.. i don't think they understand your view of point. you were asking about how to SUPPRESSED APPETITE. This is something i am trying to find out lately.

But first!.. im not some direct selling agent. u can checked my record here, just to clarify b4 i go on. I may be harsh to some because sometimes i have to use words like dumbs and idiots. but i guess, im not going to do it here because im one of them too.. laugh.gif but when comes to discussion sake, it's okay to be dumb and stupid so others could tembak u also.

ok here goes...

I have not come across any food or fruits that could " Supressed APPETITE" When we said suppressing appetite, i know what it is. It's has to do with Mind Power . U r able to control your mind instead of your mind telling u that u r hungry.

But first u got to cut out GLUCOSE. That's the culprit. u r still eating CARBS. hidden sugar in the solid food and many Malaysian are writting a dead wish . good for health insurance and pharma.. yippee..

Anyway, i hate to blabber a lot of scientific stuff. just get on with it..
So far i have only discovered Herbalife Tea Mix able to do that. i stops here. u got to try it and only u knows it.

From here, i believed ingredients like tea leaf have that suppresant. i don't know other things but i have tried green tea but doesn't work. Im not sure how herbalife extraction or other ingredients in the mix that make it works.

If any of u knows the secret to get the same effect as this Herbalife Tea Mix, pls do share here as i would prefer to cut cost in my supplement and without hurting my pocket in the long term too. And by the way, KETO diet able to trigger KEtosis that suppressed appetite. u can use that too but i prefer something to kick in quick. Keto takes some times to kick in.

PS.. someone just mentioned Coffee..
another mistaken MYTH. it's caffein and increased metabolism and doesn't supressed appetite. u know what i mean by dumb sometimes.

I think this shows your problem right? You have known the way but you refused to go down on it. "Appetite" here is more of a mental thing, much like the "hunger" that we know.

But I don't know man, what's the problem when you are not gaining fats?? Burnt a hole in your wallet? Too taxing for your body? Then just make better food choices and cut out the craps.

Not really in the place to advise since I'm not blessed with that genetics. console.gif

I don't care if its myth or not. Once i drink coffee then i can skip another meal. Isn't tea also caffeine?

This is just the TS in sugar craze mode. Cut down the sugar and he'll be fine.

Thanks a lot, I do know that there are few chemical ingredients which suppress our appetite, as I have taken fat burner / pre workout pills before which have that similar effect . Wanna try some natural ways right now to prohibit myself from relying on external consumables .

Will look more on keto diet to see if it works for me . Thanks a lot!

Yes I have discover some Unconventional way on my own as examples quoted above, therefore I’m seeking out if any Sifus here have their own unconventional way as well .

It’s just unhealthy and read up a lot that consuming lots of sugar / protein stress out your kidney etc, my blood test reports years ago stated that I have too high of calcium intake and blood is too concentrated etc .

It also burn a hole in my wallet 😂

I don’t know what better food choices cause salad and healthy food choices would definitely not work on me, so I resort to healthier alternatives such as chicken breast, Cole zero etc and try to avoid fried food

No caffeine tablets doesn't work on me. Black coffee works best with less sugar but i can't stand the taste if no sugar. Avoid all other 3 in 1.

You're in high carb consumption, very difficult to jump into keto. You need to cut down by stages until your body/mind is ready for it.

Everything ok in moderation. Your meals all looks fine except dinner chicken wings + fries + coke zero. Why u think its stressing your body since you cant gain weight.

Coke Zero have zero sugar what 😂 the problem with it is fried?

I have succumb to the ‘protein diet’ of gym and therefore every time I ordered something I will subconsciously opt for protein choices instead of purely carbs .

I avoid all sugar/ glucose but I know carbs are broken down into glucose in the end as well.

My weight fluctuates between +- 3 kg all the time, and taking in so much food seems to stress on my kidney and pancreas’s as doctor has told me that my family has history of heart attack and diabetes therefore should monitor my volume moderately.

That is marketing i guess? where got such thing as zero calorie and sugar but taste good. lol

No problem with fried food if you cook yourself at home. Change the oil every single time u fry something cause it has already gone pass the boiling point. Outside they will use the same oil to fry over and over again. That is not a good thing for your health.

Not marketing lol , because they replace sugar with aspartame which is around 200 times sweeter than sugar . So it’s normally 0-0.3 calories for Coke Zero and Pepsi Black , so it’s a healthier alternative. Actually it does taste really bad once the the gas / coldness is gone haha.

Yes tea do have caffeine but I already said caffeine increase metabolism not a suppressant. Hope I’m wrong so everybody can learned the secret . Caffeine increased metabolic rate only, fat burning substance. When I took suppressant, the feeling is unexplainable here. My body and mind just reject any oily food. Coffee have no effect as far as I’m concerned. What ever u think it is, its your own placebo. I know bcos I had coffee everyday with less sugar n next thing I know , I’m eating mc d or Nasi Lemak when my meal time is up.

already experiment coffee without sugar too. green tea as well.
boiled the best combo cardamon, lemon and green tea.. no effect. doesn't really work. next day u will start craving for food.

Suppressant on the other hand, work for few day but once u stop, u crave back too.

some of this supplement companies really know how to do it.
its their trade secret.

Your meals have too much refined carbs and sugar. I dont start my first meal with noodles, rice and mihun beclĺause i will feel crazy hungry 2 hours later, like my glucose level took a plunge. But then I am probably pre-diabetic because diabetes runs in my family. Oat (half cup only), coco drinks, milk will last me longer.

Your ramen, pork noodle soup and cheese tart (pastry) are flour ( i am guessing white flour?) And llao llao yogurt and chee cheong fun sauce are all sugar. Start substituting some of these especially yogurt for non sweetened yogurt, reduce food made from refined carb.

Stick with rice+meat+plenty of vege. Whole wheat/ grain bread, moderate amt of cheese, butter, avocado and nuts. These are all the food that works for me.

For me, coffee and tea usually make me hungry faster. Cocoa drink makes me feel fuller (i am not talking about Milo or Vico).

Coke zero? My ex boss had it every day. Eat quiet a good diet but got stroke at age 38. I dont usually trust food with loads of aspartame.

I am not in medical line, but seeing diabetes in my family, i have done lots of trial and error with food that give good control to my hunger/glucose level, hoping i wont get diabetes. So the above are just from my experience.

Drink water or have a fruit if hungry works. Besides eating the right number of times, in reasonable quantities and having nutritional food.

u right. Ts listen to him.

TS most importantly, study which food is low GI and high GI. even fruits have high GI which fluctuated your glucose.

Black coffee, and more healthy fats in your diet.
Practice with caution.
Cut refine carbs or no carbs at all. For me, eating carbs tends to make me feel hungry faster than no carb meal.

From your example, eat more of the pork and less the noodles. Wings are fine, fries are not. Chicken breast good, rice not so good. CCF even worse.

already experiment coffee without sugar too. green tea as well.
boiled the best combo cardamon, lemon and green tea.. no effect. doesn't really work. next day u will start craving for food.

Suppressant on the other hand, work for few day but once u stop, u crave back too.

some of this supplement companies really know how to do it.
its their trade secret.

You can try practice intermittent fasting also. On the first few days you may find it difficult, but once get used to it, I don't find myself craving for food for the entire day. I eat one meal a day (dinner). For the rest of the day, water/black coffee/green tea only. Same disclaimer, practice with caution. Do your own research and find a way which works for you.

thanks.
i got an advised from some people to eat multiple times in a day . this is quite the hard part because when eating multiple times in a day, it's like giving me a passport to eat more food.
and i noticed that if u eat multiple times in a day, there meant to be some accidentally of eating the wrong kind of food if your lifestyles were mostly outside. I began to realized that, people who gave this advised are not precise enough . It probably works if you have prepared food or meal plan and you have to be inside a controlled environment. if you are here and there, this advise has flaw.

intermittent fasting i found is better than multiple intake of food as it gives u the opportunity to adjust and last longer it seem. but my question is this, some asked not eat dinner but y u choose dinner ?

Some people say it does not matter what time do you eat in the day, as long as it does not affect your energy level throughout the day and you are achieving calorie deficit (for fat loss); however some say better avoid eating after the sun is set.
I choose dinner because it is the 'social' time of the day. On days I am not cooking I can have dinner with friends, otherwise I'll be looking at other people eating while I'm on fasting...not the best scene to see when you are restricting eating. Most parties are during evening/night also. So I can still maintain my social life, which revolves around eating here in Malaysia.
Like I say, whatever works for you and sustainable for you.

When you eat, don't need to eat until full or satisfied. As long as not hungry, it is good enough. Train yourself to eat less. You can continue to indulge in junks once a while. Since you are still doing workouts, it is fine.

Slowly train your body to eat less. You can also train yourself by eating less carb. Eat more protein if you want. Try to stay away from sugar. Like those ice cream are really fatty. Just keep them at low consumption.

Most of all, don't worry too much since your weight is still under control. Enjoy the food and continue to workout.

Agreed on eating more protein, less carbs. If eating the right quantity, can actually eat the stuff you like. Include a little fats too. Too little fats, might actually cause one to be even hungrier. Although in general less fats, and bad fats in particular, preferred. Lot to do with trial and error, some psychology/emotional control and discipline. Thinking about the composition of the foods usually taken helps too.

i have actually taken off two myths out from my diet plan.

1. Calorie watch, in and out is not the way to live. Understanding the concept is good enough but not until reading labels and counting it everyday. this is a misconception way to lose weight daily. Eating right food and nutrition in the food is way much better . The mental freak in calorie watch daily affects your mentality until it affects the people surrounding you one day.

2. MEal plan. its another wrong perception. the secret is being able to adjust whatever u have like eat lesser if it's high calories and avoid dangerous food. Having a few nuts or granola bar is already good enuff and always standing by without the hassle of spending hours prep out the food in the kitchen. The current lifestyles are not like those Cowboy mama or italian mama who spent half a day or full day to prepare meal for the family.
