Found it, in the chipser cfg section. It's default value is "auto" that make me missed it. Nvm.

Question:
Which Mobo would OC better for a new AMD rig?

The Abit KN9S or Biostar TF560 A2+
Would the difference be worthy of the Biostar's solid capacitors and SPDIF out?

Thanks for the time!

i thought KN9S also got solid cap?? hmm.gif
oic, from the link provided it's not solid cap. but got some bulk seller selling Kn9S with japan's solid caps.. drool.gif
solid caps sure worth to get coz much more reliable and solid performance, much more stable if u running ur system in ocing mode.... thumbup.gif

TF560 A2+ seems to be having a more overclocking friendly BIOS. There's a lot of extra options that can be tweaked. I don't see much fine tuning options with ABIT BIOS.

Besides, TF560 A2+ is a better looking board compare to the ugly brown KN9S.

IMO, i think your vcore is high for a brisby.
Mind to shoot a cpu-z printscreen here? smile.gif

Do as 8tvt suggested. Set it manually.
If that vCore is not stable, increase it one step somemore.
Use Orthos to test stability for at least 8 hours

auto overclock is boring and lame. i suggest you do it manually by trial and error. extra ordinary performance is nothing extra ordinary.

Biostar TF560 A2+, hot mean?
even my A690 chipset also hot to touch.. but i do some sensor reading around 43C on load.. could be the heatsink is the culprit..
if want to replace also the orientation is a bit different..

WOW!!! Really really low voltages!!! Can definitely go to 3ghz I think biggrin.gif. Mine at 2.8ghz needs 1.4v to be stable sweat.gif Using the same board and so far I've pushed it to 2.96ghz.......after that gerenti BSOD while windows is loading. Is the proc at its max ady or is it my windows problem. I've tried this with basiclly all possible settings and voltages.
