QUOTE(josh5671 @ Jun 13 2019, 01:02 PM) Wow 3ca. he got his speed capped after using for 1TB, he was asking someone else who posted an ss of his hwmanager after using 1.3TB data, but the guy he was asking to had no idea, and i think that 1.3TB also accumulated for more than 1 month usageMe here only 2ca with B3, b7 And facepalm. This guy pass 1tb no speed cap and he call digi for verify? then this TS claimed if he called up Digi to clarify, and Digi answered him if his speed is being capped because his usage is already above 1TB but you guys should know, even after the cap, he's still getting 120-127mbps (due to 3CA i guess), and he claimed before the cap it was much faster, but he didnt state how fast @fruitie he is in Penaga, Penang |

i've used v1.1, v1.3 and v4
the most comfortable to use is v4 QUOTE(cassian948 @ Jun 13 2019, 04:33 PM) Still, haven't experienced network improvement in my area. what is the problem actually? can you elaborate?Ookla speedtest was never a problem - 80Mbps+ I reckoned, Digi probably allocated a channel just for speedtest so it appears fast and steady during speed benchmark vs actual usage on non-speedtest servers. QUOTE(alexchew_2020 @ Jun 14 2019, 01:21 PM) all my personal hmanager screenshot i shared here before is v4, thats how it looks, yes maybe can be categorized as minor difference on the UI, but what i mean the most comfortable to use is because other version such as 1.3 final always crashed/hang if you open for more than several seconds, this is not really a problem if you just wanna change/lock band, but for monitoring purpose its really troublesome to always have to re-run it again everytime it stops, but it doesnt happen on v4QUOTE(NeoSabin @ Jun 16 2019, 04:58 AM) Hi, I made a Huawei Router Toolbox for windows. It is inspired from E5186 toolbox, but I added more stuff in my program. This is similar with the webUI. Some info and setting may not displayed if your router not supported an API. For instant, some 'firmware-update' API may be disabled in modded firmware to prevent accidental update. So if you try to disable/enable update setting and it will fail. thanks for your hardwork and contribution by making this one, btw i visited your github, this one is not up yet there?![]() High res image : https://ibb.co/Q8VZMQs https://ibb.co/PFBsLrT https://ibb.co/zxXdfLp https://ibb.co/nRfwPFt https://ibb.co/Ycfqb9p https://ibb.co/JCbBL5Q Features : CODE - View router info - View network stat - View network performance - View and manage connected device - Change router setting - Switch to debug mode (telnet, etc) - Manage network band - View network status - Write directly to API Changelog : CODE V3 Changelog : - Added : View & manage connected device. - Added : Device setting. - Added : More APIs to API list. QUOTE(Candy12 @ Jun 27 2019, 04:44 PM) How much you all want to go further? this fastCat 4 LTE is rated 150Mbps theoretically. 20% overhead is a must. That means your effective speed is only 120Mbps @ 80% People here saying they're getting 160Mbps. Intermittently yes due to sudden spike in transfer but that's not accurate. not mine tho |

QUOTE(Candy12 @ Jun 27 2019, 05:17 PM) Nope show me a continuous 5X of the same speedtest with an average of over 150Mbps at the same time. If that is possible then only you can confirm the network actually supports beyond 150mbps. i was counting on you to ask that That's a glitch. so from 20% overhead to 5x speedtest, whats next? |

QUOTE(Candy12 @ Jun 27 2019, 09:14 PM) Nope still not convinced. Those results look suspiciously from some 300M/50M fibre plan from either Unifi or Maxis Home Fibre done on some regional SG server or something. Use a more revealing test site such as testmy.net where the public can look through everyone's past results. QUOTE(Candy12 @ Jun 27 2019, 09:15 PM) HAHAHA i know, expected this from you, i rest my case (i mean i will stop pulling your leg for fun), but please dont stop entertain us, maybe come with conspiracy theory next time QUOTE(WhatMan @ Jun 28 2019, 01:01 AM) yes, he said during peak hours he's getting below 200 but always above 150, and he also said its not so surprising in his area, because he got 200 mbps for maxis and celcom too, his digi bandwidth 3 is 20mhz *picture is from the same user This post has been edited by moshpit21: Jun 28 2019, 03:53 AM |

QUOTE(ckimsem @ Jun 28 2019, 08:07 AM) i doubt so, but he said LTE-A is pretty new in his area, about 1 month old, and he lives in some kampung he said, maybe he's the only user there QUOTE(Candy12 @ Jun 28 2019, 08:56 AM) I wish those B618 scalpers will stop entertaining us by saying their modems can do fibre speeds in excess of hundreds of megabits. scalperSeriously to go this low and use fixed fibre 300M/50M plans and spoofing their SSIDs to proof their claims? Really this desperate? /ˈskalpə/ noun INFORMAL "a person who resells shares or tickets at a large or quick profit." you do know that all the hundreds of feedback in LYN and those other FB groups are from users right? not from seller you are so desperate to proof their claims wrong, really, what happened? did any "scalper" hurt you before in the past? btw that guy who posted the speedtest result that i posted, was asked by some people if thats for real, and he invited those people to go to his house to test it themselves, and no he is not a modem seller, why don't you give it a go? must be very satisfying to proof them wrong right? |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jun 28 2019, 02:42 PM) Yes, no charges. Make sure you call CS to activate your VoLTE so that your line will not drop to 3G when you make calls. Remember to set your B618 to Auto connection and not locked to any band. If CS asks which device you are using for VoLTE, simply quote an iPhone or latest Samsung/Huawei phone. for both of my Inifinite 150 i didn't need to call CS to activate VoLTE, it was autoactivated once i put simcard on the phone the first timeFor VoIP, I'm not sure, sorry can't advise much. and finally i managed to play around with VoLTE on B618, actually can lock band, as long as the "preferred mode" is set to Auto (by default it will be "LTE Only") if i set LTE only, then it will say IMS status not registered and @fruitie finally i got to play around and compare, basically the case of 4G+ (LTE-A) will switch back to 4G once we are idle (no internet activity), only happened in older firmware version, @alexchew_2020 actually indirectly pointed this out for me, he said something about 4G+ being easier to lock so i use 2 different B618s-22d the first one is the older firmware version from my first ever B618, on this one only when there is a bandwidth load then it will switch, this is not good in some of my usage, disconnect me from the server because of that 1 to 2 seconds during the switch, and then i got myself another 22d with newer version, it stays on 4G+ even when i idle for hours at first i thought its a different modem might cause that, so i update the firmware of my older modem, and then it seriously stays in 4G+ even for 24 hours |

yeah we can download global firmware, it doesn't bound to any telco, its usually being used by non-branded modem, those non subsidized RM 1k - RM 1.5k B618
@fruitie yes for general use the switch is not a problem, too bad in my application it means i get kick out of server because of RTO for 1 second |

QUOTE(renyyz @ Jun 29 2019, 07:25 PM) guys, i plan to subscribe this plan to play pc online game. its possible if i play while streaming? anyone have try it? hopefully the signal and everything is good in your place, because in general you will need to always have 7mbps upload speed for a decent 720p60 with 3k to 5k bitrate with OBSbtw, with budget rm300, what modem should i use with this internet? thanks and you will need at least 16mbps upload speed for a decent 1080p60 with 6k bitrate in my case this is always be the problem, during peak hours the speed became so slow to the point where the download speed is still ok (20-30mbps), but the upload speed will be below those marks thats the reason i need the best modem to assure i get above that numbers |

QUOTE(myqd @ Jul 1 2019, 10:37 AM) may i know iwhere u guys get the B618 from ? is it the unlocked version for all telco except Unifi ? If yes,any issue with the unlocked version (a mobile shop guy told be they face weak signal issue after modded and unlocked ?) do note that Celcom first batch was unlocked for all telco too, but along the way they decided to change their mind about it, so there is no guarantee in the future 65D from TM won't do the same thanks in advance |

QUOTE(abcn1n @ Jul 10 2019, 11:35 AM) 1 thing I learned from generally reading the comments and rating section of various products, quite a number of the comments are negative but still give 5 star rating. I no longer trust in Lazada's rating anymore agree with you, and many give 5 star ratings right after they receive the item, so that 5 star rating only to validate the seller is not a scam, but it doesnt really represent the quality of the product |

QUOTE(bios123 @ Jul 16 2019, 09:05 AM) Is digi providing CA with band 3 and 8? i'm too lazy to dig my old post right now but that's what i experienced tooMy single band 3 5 to 10 mbps topped at 20 mbps Single band 8 3 to 5 mbps topped at 10 mbps When I select band 3 plus 8 I will get 20 to 30 mbps at times and topped at 60 to 70 mbps. I guess digi is doing CA via bands 3 and 8 in addition to 3 plus 7. My band 3 plus 7 speed is lower than 3 plus 8. Am I right? Thanks in advance for any input but some people firmly believe the only CA digi has is 3+7 |

QUOTE(gogo2 @ Jul 24 2019, 04:56 PM) Finally ported number from DiGi Infinite to XoX to keep the number. The end of era of mobile internet for home. The best internet provider for non-Unifi area since other like Celcom only able to reach 20mbps while DiGi can go all the way to 150mbps. Unifi 10ms ping just feel quicker although slower at 100mbps. i think its in your area only not in general, because in my current area which is a non-unifi area, celcom does 100-130mbps all the time, while my digi averaging 60-80mbps only at off peak time (midnight++)if both works at their most optimal, yeah digi will still win because its cheaper |
