Why digi infinite doesnt have 5g?dam fucuk digi

Last time, despite less coverage than Maxis/Celcom, Digi always provide the best cheapest plan

They always offer more, for example e-SIM for prepaid. Until today, Maxis and Celcom don't provide e-SIM for prepaid, only postpaid eligible for e-SIM but Digi has been providing e-SIM for prepaid since long time ago. Another example, FUP on unlimited prepaid plans. Digi was at 300GB, which I think still in effect today. However Maxis and Celcom was stuck with about 40-100GB.

Now Celcom combine with Digi already, and it seems to me they're following Celcom's way.. that includes 5G. Recently, Celcomdigi defended the additional charges on 5G. If only Celcom & Digi didn't combine, most likely Digi would have 5G on their Infinite plan.. whether postpaid or prepaid.

wrote months ago; nothing beneficial will come out from merger.
Gone is the Digi that was innovative.
I expect the merged behemoth will eventually just turn into a clone of old inflexible Celcom, which is leading the merged entity.

Just go lepak their postpaid section, seem infinite plan only left infinite 65 and 85 option?

What happen to those subscribe to old plan that is 100 or above, just downgrade or what?

Did Digi got tied Infinite plan with contract if taking device? I not familiar with Digi before, if got this then really kantoi for those tie with contract biggrin.gif

new digi postpaid 150 =/= infinite 150.. basically if want higher quota, locked to 12months contract, and hotspot limited to 10Mbps (mentioned in tnc, hidden away)

i150 (2017) is unlimited in true sense, BUT, many already testified that the system had to key in quota AND can only support 1TB quota, so they phoned in and asked for quota reset any time it reaches limit, which Digi had honored before.

the 150 (2021) w/ freedom 12mth contract add-on is true cap at 1TB, cannot ask to reset. i beleieve i read somewhere that subscriber will have to opt for contract add-on again at end of 12mth.

For real?
After hitting 999gb cannot ask to reset quota for postpaid 150?

i read somewhere in here that now even the Postpaid Infinite 150 (2017) is getting refused when call in ask to reset.

Postpaid 150 (2017) w/ contract add-on memang tak payah fikir nak minta reset. confirm kena terajang. rclxm9.gif

Guy seems a bit confused about the current Digi Infinite 150 plan. I been payingRM159 for the previous month, but the latest bill shows RM190. Is the "Roam Like Home" feature no longer free? Also, many mention that there's a data quota for the latest 150 plan, but in my Digi app it still shows as unlimited.

Are there any other telcos offering unlimited plans for the convenience of three users using a HUAWEI LTE router with speeds around/above 10mbps? Stable coverage for Bandar Parklands area??

Usually there would be a discount at the billing?
Something like 'BD: Roam Like Home Monthly 30 - (RM30)'

The data quota was there since the very beginning. Around 1TB if not mistaken, used to be able to get quota resets but Digi isn't really allowing it anymore.

You're better off with unlimited 5G plans or 5G home plans that comes together with a wireless router, which your area should be covered by 5G.

Digi really screwed their infinite plans.

bill always charged Roam Like Home THEN apply discount to cancel it off.

Postpaid Infinite 150 (2017) is was truly unlimited. 1TB in system is because the system requires a value to be set, and so it was set to max. People sworn to be able to call in and asked to reset when it's finished too soon than before billing day.

Postpaid 150 (2021) have fixed something something quota not "unlimited" and limited hotspot. but will get "1TB"+hotspot if you are willing to be in contract for 12mth. Renew every year to remain "1TB". Cannot ask to reset if finished before billing day.

Also, double check that there 10Mbps(?) limit for hotspot.

Are you referring to Digi or Unifi? I saw that Unifi Air seems quite suitable for my needs, but I'm concerned about having to commit to a 2-year contract, especially if I'm not sure about the coverage in the area I mentioned.

Also, I have another question. With all these unlimited or wireless plans, can I still keep my current Digi number? I'm quite fond of this number.

Meaning the discounted roam like home is no longer available?

For me 1TB is more than enough, but only problem would be the hotspots which my case is for 3 user. If it limit to only 10gb hotspots then this plan consider useless to me.

Not just unifi or Digi.
Most telcos are offering 5G are under the same DNB network.

Just port in then if you wanna keep the number.

After searching for all the telcos, it seems like all 5G plans come with limited hotspot data. Now, the only choice would be to go with the Unifi Air 5G plan.
