New ver can't do carrier aggregation.
Only the old v1.3 can do it.

Just received my B618S modem and used it on my i150 plan.

I dont notice any significant improvement in terms of speed as compared to using my P20, but the network is much more improved now. There's no occasional signal drop or line disconnected and i can even connect to the internet during heavy rain! Previously i was so frustrated that my area got rain during evening and it always slows down my connection but this time no such issues. Gonna give it few more days to try before can confirm this modem is really beast biggrin.gif

The B618-65d or the B618-22d?
Either way the B618 does have a very strong internal antenna, no doubt it gonna provide a much stable connectivity.

** Is it just me or has the speed throttling after 300 GB rule been lifted?

I've hit the 300 GB mark this morning and I'm at 400 GB now, but the speeds are definitely maintaining at 80 Mbps or more.

Safe to say it has reverted back to the original 1 TB quota? biggrin.gif

thumbsup.gif Hope that it has truly reverted back to the original 1TB quota.

Such a hassle to request reset quota, after all its suppose to be INFINITE!

Tell me about it.

Every single time I reset my quota I would bring up the matter to them and claiming it's unfair to us especially when the MCO is in effect, they should have been doing the opposite instead of lowering the quota.

Those who get capped, please report to mcmc, so next time they wont dare do it again.

I hope digi will hunt the illegal hotspot users like yes. Its their fault congestion the line, i150 is paying full price yet punished because of this idiots.

They use custom firmware to change router's IMEI to mobile's it seems?
I think Digi only throttles extremely heavy users, such as those who already been using tons of data before MCO. bangwall.gif

No idea about the modded part, I always thought that once it hits 300 GB or 1000 GB the speeds just drops to around 10 Mbps, no matter it's in a router or a phone. But a reset would usually just do the trick so there's really no point in getting a modded router?

I do wonder how heavy is heavy? >2TB of data usage? hmm.gif

Before MCO they'll throttle you upon reaching 1TB, now lowered to 300gb…
I normally uses around 800GB to 1.5TB per month, certainly a heavy user.

Now is back to cap at 1 TB. No more cap at 300 GB.

If you request reset, they give you a page about fair usage before decide reset or not.

I feel ya bro.
Coming from a place without proper fibre coverage, my best option is this.

Truthfully, even if we exceed the 1TB usage, it feel totally fine since we're in the year 2020.

Same, my area was scheduled to have fiber pulled and installed by the end of April. But due to MCO it was delayed with no ETA.
Had to stuck with Digi for another few months, been with it since the package was out few years back.
You had to reset by calling them or live chat through digi's mobile app.
