I’m having different cell ID at the morning n night time.

Is that means I jump tower?

Suddenly been around 30Mbps for the whole night due to no 4G+ connectivity.

Then now, got 4G+ and my speed go back to 60+Mbps.

Is there anyway to lock my band to 4G+ always?

there is some firmware b618 can lock specific cell id. i'm not sure which ver. can check in fb group they shared.

have u try use hmanager to lock b3+b7 only? they connection may not turn into 4G. unless either one of the b3/b7 signal is weak. so 4G+ is unstable.

B618s-22d?

I cancelled my earlier order for modded B618S-22d and bought the 65D instead. Cost me 800 but it's v81 so cant mod

gah so which exact version to get then?

you can, i just suspended my line for 2 months about few weeks back, because i wanted to terminate it but they cant do it through phone and still require me to do it at their center during MCO

OK. Since MCO is going to lift soon, I will keep it then.

From my understanding (correct me if im wrong im still new to this)

B618s-22d - There are 2 version, one is locked to only celcom sim (cheaper), and there's modded & unlocked version which can be used by all sim (slightly expensive).

B618s-65d - no reported lock unit. Can be used by all sim card telco. But most of the firmware for this unit is V81 which means future modding is not possible. Very expensive. Good if you're using i150 plan.

It's all boil down to your own preference. I decided to go with the 65d since i dont really need the modding part & it support Volte out of the box.
It also come with official Huawei warranty 1 year.

FYI,

65D can support Band 5 and Band 40, which is able to use for Unifi Air so more tower in malaysia is supported.

As of VoLTE,
I read somewhere they said they u make phone call, 4G will automatic reconnect to 3G. If you set your modem to always connect to 4G, then your VoLTE will automatically shut.

Correct me if I’m wrong.

Also, 65D not able to update firmware, may brick/lock-sim. 22D nvm since it is already lock-sim, and can lock band without the help of 3rd party software.

Now Digi can connect to VoLTE even on 4G only.

addition, if your signal doesnt go 4G, it only got 3G i think internet will drop ?...

But if you in 4G, it will automatic support VoLTE, mean it get called in or out, internet still going didt cut off

Im not sure if this will be the case with B618-s modem. Gotta wait & test it myself once it arrived

in the fb group ppl been saying the 150 now already reduced from 1TB to 300gb? is it true? cause they shared screenshot with their engagement to digi cs and said the new fair policy usage is 300gb.. they been experiencing speed cap after using 300gb.. but yesterday I also talk to digi cs but he said it was still 1TB.. super confuse

Back to my previous finding,

I found a place by putting my antenna to my roof top and i can get max 25dBi on SINR (previously was less then 10dBi)

The max speed i can go is 140Mbps at the morning.

Wonder can reset how many times the 300 GB quota. 300 GB is a bit. hmmm...

I just request reset by chat, it mentioned need 24 to 48 hours. Lucky mine get reset within 10 mins.

Probably just during MCO, can easily call to request to reset after >300GB.
