u drive auto or manual? if auto, come join our auto club TT, then can discuss and intro ppl to help u with ur project

for CD player, u need detachable faceplate type CD player, high end kenwood and pioneer comes with it

for LED backlights, not sure if it was being made, but u could consider LED bulbs for cheap alternative

go shopping in ENEOS in 1 utama, it gives u ideas

is it Eneos in 1U is cheaps???
im also going to get carpet mat....

eneos only cheap when they have sale, but then agian if u live in 1U, just convenient and everything under one shop

but carpet mat should be reasonable pricing

u can try out mp3 modulator if intended to remain stock CD player... sound quality not bad and had stereo as well...

about carpet mat, u can get from brother RM25 5pieces, but it seem not too thick...


otherwise get carpet map from hypermarkert, each pieces below RM10

I drive auto.. easier plus i'm lousy in handling clutch & gear.. haha...i'm just a beginner driver... i'm quite a blur blur person. So auto fit me perfectly.

No no... Viva premium have carpet mat included... but i don't want coz i heard that if your shoe wet wet or anything that is wet touch it... it well be smelly if not dry properly.. izzit true? Should i go and buy the common one to replace...

Eneos..hmm.. never been there before.. will go one day. but Pioneer seems to be big brand.. expensive or not? Should i buy detachable faceplate then implement the Mp3 modulator? or vice versa? Got say which one must do first? How much total up? Sorry..i'm a noobies!

viva vs myvi handling......

if get a good CD player, will get better speaker later...
if got better speaker, will get best CD player later...
if got best CD player, will get amplifier + big speaker later...
if got amplifier + big speaker, will get DVD player later...
if got DVD player, will get LCD screen...
...
...
...
not ending...

most important is the alarm system, seem like not info in the p2 website about viva alarm... or the remote control for central lock only without alarm?

get modulator if just intended to hear normal quality mp3, budget price (below RM100), 0% hassle and dont want to change stock speaker (heart pain if drill the door panel into big hole to fit new speaker )

true, viva's front light looks much better..

if viva = grasshopper, myvi = frog, still a happy family..

i remember AAM got provide a rental car for merc e class RM888 1 day

1) Look for 3M Mesh Carpets or Non-Original ones. Can be found at almost all car accessories shop..

2) Don't have to go high end ones. Nowadays, all entry level head units have the detachable face plate feature. The ones that has the MP3 function would start from around RM350 to RM450 excluding installation (ranging usually from RM30-50). Head units with USB and MP3 functions starts from RM450 onwards.

3) LED backlight uses LED bulb so by your question there are no differences. ViVa I'm not so sure but Myvi's backlight is a mixture of LED bulbs (for the brake lights) and normal bulbs (for all the other lights the the rear)..

totally disagree with your mentality. not all walk down this path. If i'm not wrong the premium ViVa comes with immobilizer. A very good advise from a long time friend whose family business is accessorizing cars and the brother is a Clifford Alarm Master installer. When a thief wants to steal your car, he will steal your car. Alarm just for show as all alarms has a cut out point when the front is lifted up to a "certain" degree in angle (I wish not to announce it here)..

Regarding viva alarm, too bad when LOCK/UNLOCK no sound... just the signal flash only. Need to change that also. Maybe with doremi sound.

I found out sound for signal and so on is quite soft... if i blast the speaker, cannot hear liao. I lov to blast!

But 1st of all, tinted my car first. everyone also being offer Raytech? Which one better skill & faster, Sri Kembangan or Cheras branch?

Any Viva owner want to write a review? I'm no good in technical things. Just want to say that i lov the retractable side mirror. Will always retract whenever i'm done parking.

Today, i saw a Viva parking next to avanza... hehe like big bro & small bro together..

If u wan a budget Head Unit go for a CD player with radio i think 200+ u can get already. Then get urself a FM modulator. FM modulator can play ur USB and can act as AUX input. So even u have MP3 player CD player DVD player all can fit in but make sure it doesnt get power from car as the modulator already get the power from car. My modulator cos me for RM65 with auto memory which will play back the last song before i off my engine. USB pendrive can be play in a car in a very cheap manner. Look around if u still dun un feel free to PM me

They didn't. They give me voucher 100 bucks only. I have ask them help me tinted before i drive the car.. they say i need to do it myself.. so no choice lor.. hehe

hahha, actually driving manual makes u less blur and aware on what gear u are on, but hahah, i support auto

i actually have a gripe against the viva auto gearbox stick, its too darn low, compared to my neo, maybe i should request a longer stick

you could get better mats, like those very furry plastic ones, all dirts and sand should accumulate over there, hard to describe, but i can show u !

LED backlights come in one cluster, like the myvi brakelamps, its the whole square console thing

LED bulbs, are just standard replacement into our standard brakelights. I have done a pair of these, it looks rather dim than myvi's light, so i suggest you consider first

made my booking just now, the dealer said before end of june can get the car..

@ wacko_joy, how much you paid for downpayment, how many years loan?

For cd player with detachable face plate, get Pioneer DEH 2950 roughly rm 3xx only. It has MP3 function playback. Or else get a FM Modulator for rm 40 with selectable FM channel in LED numbering display for rm 40 only.

By the way, TS mentioned about tinting. If the power window has warranty(assuming TS car has power window), wont tinting void the warranty. I advice TS to check kaw kaw first because this is just news I have heard from one of the other forums.

i like suzuki switf too.. better design.. but i don wan to burden myself to much so i settle with Viva.. easy to drive & park... lov it... good for parents too where all their children have grown up...

I saw a Viva speed (past tense) at PLUS highway. Somemore in the rain and even faster than my friend's Myvi. Perhaps maybe everybody on the road was looking to it and this Viva driver was taking the opportunity to speed. HAHA!

only white is [SOLID] the rest all metallic colours.

white is cheaper by RM400 so the price is RM43800 instaed of RM44200.

ok... cool.. yesterday nite, got a small accident.. as i drive thru a narrow lane... i accidently hit a parking Vios car's side mirror.. my mirror & his hit.

mine one crack with one long line at the side mirror signal lamp... a bit black grey thing shown on the kaca... Vios more serious coz his own already move "forward".

the owner is not around... plan to pay him back.. how much it cost ar max?

plus can mine one be repaired w/o paying when i go for 1st time servicing... now scare got water go in... will shock the electric..

if narrow lane should drive slow leh...
later ur whole car drop into longkang more cham which is better than 1 wheel drop only...

I got the 850cc. I would the FC is tons better than my mom's kembara
If im not mistaken. full tank. around rm70. can go around 400km or slightly more
Kembara rm66 can only go 295km

The ride is quite smooth. go over humps smoothly. I just feel abit too much plastic in it.

kembara really "famous" on high FC...
bcos the engine have to push 4 wheel... and 4wd car should design more powerful to climb...

is it viva suspension will softer? i felt myvi suspension hard like stone...
