QUOTE(jasonchan323 @ Oct 7 2018, 10:17 PM) haha saw sifu always recommending the RT-AC86U. Really that good? but quite pricey leh.. any similar performance router which is cheaper? Yes. It is really good. If you want something cheaper, you can try the TP-Link C3150 v2 or TP-Link C2300.QUOTE(Panda12 @ Oct 7 2018, 10:20 PM) Guys, how come my internet speed no difference? It's still the same as 100mbps even though I was upgraded to 500mbps. Is there any configurations that I need to set? Or do I need to buy new wireless router? Something is capping your speed at 100Mbps. Highly likely it is your router. Please check the specs of your router. QUOTE(jimbet1337 @ Oct 7 2018, 10:26 PM) Oh, not AC88U? Nope. AC86U is newer, and have better specs and yes, you have to compare other aspects.C3150 = AC3150 AC86U = AC2900 AC88U = AC3100 Or is it need to compare other aspect as well? Tq sifu (I refer spec with respect to each product page at their website) This post has been edited by SilentVampire: Oct 7 2018, 10:31 PM |

QUOTE(actisys @ Oct 7 2018, 10:22 PM) I wonder how many people actually use up more than 100 or 500mbps bandwidth at home.. (not counting those hardcore downloaders or 4k streamers.. ) It's like paying for buffet but only eating one plate, right? |

QUOTE(idoblu @ Oct 7 2018, 10:43 PM) QUOTE(actisys @ Oct 7 2018, 10:43 PM) Shipped from Taobao or ChinaQUOTE Item arrived in over a week’s time. Came with chinese language as default, but pretty easy to change language, works perfectly with Unifi or Time. Still the best deal for the ASUS RT-AC86U here on Lazada |

Hi guys,
Currently on Maxis Fibre (for past few years dy). Wanna switch over to TIME 100Mbps RM99. 1) How long is waiting time to schedule TIME installation? 2) Is there any installation fee, or can just use the Maxis wiring? 3) Do I need to cancel Maxis first, then wait? 4) What is the relocation charge if move house? QUOTE(llk @ Oct 7 2018, 10:46 PM) It is using international firmware so compatible here, i myself using it but i bought directly from China, the risk is the warranty might be an issue, Asus Malaysia will not accept warranty claim if anything happened. The seller already stated that: Warranty not available |
