how about i was still using time given stock router, will they do any changes to my router setting?

I've encountered reboot so many time on AC1200 model this morning. Why eh? Sometime it happened once in a while but today many time pulak.

Time to retire this router.
I have received lots of complaints regarding this router model.

My best advice to change to a new router.

Still under contract. Been using it about 15mths. Anyway, plan speed is 100mbps. What is you advice? Or can i just request to change router for EC230? Is this model okay? I don't mind if required renewal of contract since TIME is only avaiable in my apartment.

TIME EC230 is more or less same with the AC1200.
Not worth upgrading. May I know whether you have AX aka WiFi 6 devices?

I would like to recommend one of the both models below.
1. TP-Link Archer C80
2. TP-Link Archer AX20

Any idea if the xioami AX3600 router any good, the reviews seem to be quite positive, and only RM400+ for a wifi 6 router? Anyone using one yet?

Talking about routers, it says on TIME support page, under hardware, that if a customer has been with TIME for more than one year, they are entitled for a free router upgrade. Called TIME to inquire, but could not get a proper answer, think the person on the phone was not aware of the details. Any of the agents here might know how this works and have more details on this matter?

i have the same problem as well. also using this AC1200 model..
i did call TIME..they just pretend they dont knw about this issue..keep asking me to unplug plug the wire, close the router/modem for a minute and then restart again...bla bla bla..all this doesnt solve the problem..

my contract is exactly end by this month and too bad..the router also end of 2 yrs warranty.

500Mbps? Best to get AX20 if you gave WiFi 6 devices or can buy now for future proofing.

What's your maximum budget if can recommend other models besides this.

For TIME Fibre, you just need to get your PPPOE Details ready before setting up.

You may get the AX20 during 11.11

Regarding the PPPOE Details, you may get from the work completion form. For example, ID = XXXX@timebb
If you don't have the work completion form, you may call CS to claim the details.

nope. i am using individual plug point..no issue for the past 22months..
it doesnt happen always..but on and off, the router just restart itself...
and it usually happen the most during 8-11pm.
