May I know how small are those holes drilled in your house? Mine is about thumb size, slightly larger than the hole for Astro antenna cable, I was quite surprise about this considering the fibre cable is so tiny.

Update :

2 TIME technician come update the router firmware for me current firmware is
v1.0_200827.29057 (same firmware version as before....)

Hopefully it will solve the disconnection issue. Under my careful review.
Anyone with 2.4ghz wifi connectivity issue on ec230 can download this updated firmware.
Use at your own risk.

Just notice that TIME package has been reduced to 500Mbps upload speed for 1Gbps package. May i know since when this in efffect?

The upload speed was 500Mbps since the launch of 1Gbps plan.

After using for few hours, its back to old problem again... ec230 2.4ghz is unusable!

Haha I was just about to ask the same thing. Taman Dagang as well. LOS red on my Modem and thing is, it happened the same time as a piece of heavy stuff happens to fall on my fibre leading to the modem. I thought the fibre was internally decapitated. Called TIME and they said it was an outage starting from around 8.30ish

Thank god I still retained my UNIFI for UnifiTV + BBC

Called CS right away and they said fibre need to be replace. However as of 10AM service back to normal.

I decided to give it a second try today, used zoom meeting for 1.5 hours and doesn't experience any significant drop in connection.
Looks like the new firmware works on 2.4ghz, anyone can share their experience after updated this firmware?

So Time fibre got issue right ? So my router automatically rebooted and no line... That normal ? And I watching some football online stream, 100mbps still got lag buffering? Normal ?

I think it’s safe to say its around my thumb size too. The drill entry hole is smaller than the exit hole. I can’t remember the reason offered back then by the installer. While I may wish for a clean and hidden install like that of TM that came with the building. Can’t be helped..
