Do you mean the PPPoE Login Credentials?
Do contact CS for the details by giving them your Account number to claim.

Thanks.

Bros,
Might be out of topic but need some help. I have a EC230-G1 from Time and left it abandoned since i change to AX56U. My in law house router recently spoilt and thinking to use this EC230 to replace the existing dlink tm router but unsure if this can be used for TM Unifi broadband? If yes, any settings need to take note?
*
Hello, can you check whether this router can set Unifi Home.
If don't have that option, key in the VLAN ID details manually.

Thanks.

You can see your user and pass in the DIR-850L.

Guys, i need to ask for advice

Currently running AX20 as main router and EC230 provided by TIME as secondary router

I want to connect LAN to WAN as I want to separate all my smart devices from the main router. No matter what setting i do on the EC230, i just cannot get internet connection on it.

This is my setting on the EC230. Does anyone know what's wrong?

I've already reserved the IP on my AX20 for the EC230

Hi, if you want to use EC230 on a separate subnet then the main router, then you may need to flash its firmware, the current TIME's firmware is not working fine.
If you would like EC230 to act as an AP, then it's pretty easy to configure it to run as AP mode.

Thanks.

Hi there,

Recently i just installed TIME at my unit. However, during the instalation process, i wasnt there as i was busy at work and was attended by a female family member alone.
I was told that there will not be any additional cost, but what baffles me was at the end of the instalation, they requested RM150.
Who told you that ? Perhaps you will need to check with that person.

Reason was additional 10M from the default 20M was used for the fibre optic. They charged RM10 per additional Meter and RM50 for drilling a hole from front door to inside.
It seems that the contractor who did the wiring decided to use a longer distance when a shorter distance was available. My family member was alone while they are two person, therefore chose to keep quiet to prevent any "trouble:
Usually Installer will get consent from you/your representative before starting their work. And if there is any extra cable involved, then they will inform you prior to work start.

Has anyone faced such situation before? I find this very unfair and the contractor insisted on CASH only. They also did not sign nor stamp on the document when payment was made. The service report only marked the additional 10M fibre optic plus access point. Plus, the workman ship was horrible, the gluegun used as an adhesive for fibre optic did not last and my wires are now dangling
You may complain this issue to TIME CS @ 1800 18 1818, Installer needs to provide you with a receipt.

If you are refering to the PPPOE username, there are 3 ways you can get it :

1) Login to your Dlink Router to get it
2) Refer to your Work Docket Installer passed to you after Installation
3) Call TIME CS @ 1800 18 1818 to request for it.

Thanks.

Not sure I am suppose to ask or it was asked many times before, is the Latency(ping) will be the same between both 100Mbps & 500Mbps ?

I am still in a dilemma to choose between these two options.

Additional RM40 is affordable but still felt that 500Mbps is Overkill.

Based on my experience after downgrading from 500 to 100 Mbps, the ping to dota2 sea server is the same for both package at around 9-10ms via lan cable. Btw, my location is in kl area.

Thanks for the feedbacks smile.gif.

Have already called the Hotline and lodge a complain. Not expecting any kind of reimbursement, but such outsourced contractors should really deserve some kind of warning.

It's the same. We have promo now, 500Mbps is priced at RM99 for the first 3 months.

Frankly, it's bit challenging to always have below 25ms for most SEA servers.

I am using TIME, my latency to both Valve SG servers is 11ms on Ethernet LAN. Your mileage may vary.

sgp-1.valve.net
sgp-2.valve.net

Make sure you use a good router if you rely on wireless for gaming.

Is TIME using TM's infrastructure? If the location don't have unifi coverage then any other providers are also out of the question?

Hello, thanks for the interest on TIME FIBRE.
TIME Fibre doesn't share with TM.
Time is using own infrastructure. Some buildings have TIME only while Unifi is not available.

Thanks
