Just want to know your opinion.

I'm planning to apply for broadband service in Cheras KL. I will only use it for Netflix and tv box streaming (every night and weekend). I'm the only user.

Will it be worth it to apply for the 99RM TIME plan? Or just subscribe to on the go postpaid plans with quota?

I think RM99/100Mbps is more than enough for the usage pattern that you mentioned. From my experience with 100mbps (before getting 500mbps upgrade), I remember streaming netflix on 2 separate TVs (myself & wife), no lag/buffer, but both were on Full HD, not 4K.

Better fo time Fibre 100 mb since is is unlimited data usage and no problem for using in netflix and tv box streaming.

For broadband plan , if you not go unlimted plan like digi Infinite , definately not enough for tv box streaming

Make sure to use LAN connection for your Netflix or TvBox.

True, but the research and current info has already been done.. Best you go check out the first page of TM Unifi's dedicated thread. Comprehensive info about what routers to get for what speeds and other networking expectations. Easier for you..

Note : Only router could be replaced, TIME does not support the replacement of fibre modem (ONU) at this moment.

I wonder if Time will have upgrade package for business user as well? 100mbps for business while house is using 1gpbs is kind of ridiculous. We business user also need high speed... XD

Unifi really unhelpful these days - about slow internet and never watch iptv or use phone. Currently 50mbs package, no quota paying over rm200 a month

Just do it!!... I followed this thread for quite awhile, taking note of the reported downtimes, etc..Just switched and no regrets so far.. In your case, it'd be much faster speeds for much less money per month.

Unifi started charging rm25 for the phone line each month. So even easier choice to go for Time now...
