Hi, i'm having issues with my billing. My TIME acc got cut because I did'nt pay then I pay through CIMB Clicks, then I call TIME CS but TIME CS say they can't reconnect my internet because they can't verify the payment. And to verify the payment, I need to wait until office hour (I pay the overdues amount on Friday night so I need to wait for next Monday) only they will reconnect my internet.
Before this, TIME CS can reconnect the internet even on 4am. But starting November they can't they said. And they said to reconnect automatically I need to pay using the quicktime method where they send SMS when they cut my lines. But I didn't know that, only after I pay through CIMB Clicks and I called TIME CS I know they change the system.
So, I can't use my internet for about 3 days but I still need to pay the same amount. I called TIME CS for rebate but they didn't want to give rebate for the amount of time I can't use my internet.
My own experience with TIME has been that they just don't suspend your connection if it's a once-off. I know of people who lapsed for a month or so because they were overseas for work, but paid promptly once they got back. All that time, their connection was left intact.
For them to cut you off, I assume you have either have a backlog of a couple of months worth of payment and ignored their email(s) about making payment, or you have had repeated episodes of not paying your subscription.
If that's the case, you can't expect them to respond to you in a timely manner, let alone entertain your request for a rebate. Just be glad there wasn't a penalty fee involved.
At the end of the day, it's just 3 days. If it's unbearable enough that you can't put up with a weekend without broadband, remember to pay your bill next time. Set up a direct debit if you tend to forget.
If after everything, you still feel angry enough about it, hit them financially and unsubscribe. Maybe they'll learn their lesson!
