Just got my time 600mbps installed this morning.

I got the HG8145B7N router but it is not directly connected to fibre cable.

Seems like it connects to a lan cable to the wall and link to another huawei device (as below picture, it is an ONT).

Does this means that my HG8145B7N is in bridge mode, i can simply buy a new router (AX73) and replace the HG8145B7N and connect via my PPOE logins?

Do you recommend this setup for a budget and if not RE705X any better option to pair with AX73.

Hi all, I'll be moving to a new condo with only Time available for internet service.

Currently my Unifi plan includes 500mbps downs + voice calls for RM129, wonder is it possible to get similar quotes from Time? or we could only pick from what they offer as they're the only service provider in the condo?

Does time offer any promo for contract renewal?

I'm planning to get 600mbps package, for those getting this package, are you getting modem + wifi7 router, two separate devices? Because I have 200mbps package on another house that comes with Wifi6 router and modem in one single device, I plan to use my own router/mesh system for the 600mbps.
Hi, you will get 1x ONT (WiFi7) if your unit only has a Fiber Wall Socket (FWS), otherwise if you have a soho box, then you will get a ONU + an ONT (wifi7 Router).
It does't matter, if you are given with 1 unit of ONT (combo of ONU & Router), call CS to request them to turn into bridge mode & connect your own Router/Mesh System.

The left twos are SoHo Box.

I have one on the left on upstairs and one on the right at downstairs store room, the fibre is going in from outside into this downstairs store room and will joint with a connector to go to upstairs.

It's predefined what equipment to give, you can't request for custom equipment to be provided.

Oh typo, maybe I remembered wrongly, I think RM129/month was TM's package (forgot the speed). Yeah 6 months price of RM99 promo. You using 600MBps package too?
Really? So far my TM unifi 100mbps so far okay, haven't faced any technical issue which involved drains (i think). Past 3 years since i started using fibre, there have been some downtime but I think is TM's problem and resolved within a day (actually not a good thing, a day is a long time, thinking how to get refund/rebates when this happens again)

My contract expires May 2025 - what if I want to continue with "no contract" as I will move to different city in August. The T&C says I need to tell 3 months ahead and I am beyond this. 3 months is really predatory term. The bot only says wait till someone calls you. Of course no one called. Is there installation fee for "no contract"?

Hmm yeah, then meaning TM will be better in terms of their outdoor infra and reliability? Is this the same case for TIME in most other areas that TIME covers? 
Provided service is deployed in a proper condition & with good installation.

Hi, I'm currently using Maxis HomeFibre RM129 (100Mbps). If I switch to TIME Fibre, will I need to reinstall the fibre cable, or can I use the existing one? FYI, I'm staying at landed property, the fibre cable was done by TM contractor.

It seems TIME will be sunsetting Voice app soon. Now we can only use the POTS port in ONU for that. Which means we will not be able to use our own SIP phone for that.

Not yet signed up. My house is a condo with 900 sqft and my room is roughly 7 to 8 meter away from my router, perhaps self buying a mesh system will be better if comparing with the one provided by TIME?

I had accept the promo so the RM10 off will show in next month's bill? This month I pay the old amount right because the bill already generate out on 9 Mac.

my 24 months contact just ended not long ago and i want to downgrade from 600 to 200mbps. do i need to do it via live chat or better make a phone call?

will my contract reset to 24 months again?
