I read from this thread about the congestion on TIME own pipeline around last years MCO where everyone stayed at home which is quite bad. Can you guys can enlighten me on TIME performance nowadays? Hi guys, I've been using TIME for a couple of years now, and am thinking of taking up the "free" recontract offer to the Essential Booster pack. I've currently got the TP LInk 1200 router, with the recontract will they provide a new router +2 mesh nodes, or is it just the 2 mesh nodes?

If it's just the 2 mesh nodes, will I get to continue using the TP Link 1200 as a router as well, or is that not a good idea?

Any timeline for this?

My house really unable to avoid the L-corners for the location of the mesh nodes.
I have no idea how to re-locate those mesh nodes anymore.

Plus I cannot drill any holes on the wall to mount the mesh nodes.

Here is my unit layout diagram.

My primary router setup near the fibre socket at living room, located on the wall shared with Bedroom 2.

Then the TIME installer he setup the mesh nodes inside Bedroom 3 and Master Bedroom.
Because the mesh nodes are provided by TIME so I do not want to make any changes or modifications to the setup..

Can I know how to rectify the issues?

Hi guys, anyone got this promotion ? Is it worth ? I'm currently using ax73 router. If upgrade this package will have any issue ? After 24 months I can just downgrade back to 100mbps right?

Hey guys, I need some advice here. I'm currently using 100mbps with no contract, and I'm using TP Link AC1200 router given by TIME previously. My apartment is 800 sqft, basically the coverage of the current router is quite good except the corner of my second room where 5ghz network signal will drop drastically.

I'm thinking of getting this fix in a cost effective way. So, shall I:

1. Upgrade my plan to 300mbps and change to the new router that given by TIME?
2. Upgrade to 500mbps with 2 given free mesh router?
3. Purchase a better router/ mesh myself instead of getting one from TIME?
4. Any other suggestion?

Appreciate if sifu here can give me a cost effective solution as I'm kinda tight on budget.

Been using TIME (100 Mbps) for the past 2 years and they offered me the loyalty promo. Basically, I can get 300 Mbps and 1 mesh router for an additional RM 10 per month.

Speed was never an issue for me. I can load up Netflix, browse the internet and watch Youtube all good so far. Just that I cannot get a decent speed in the master bedroom. So, a mesh router probably will solve that.

It's tempting but there's some question:

1. If I take the promo, will it bind to another 1-year or 2-year contract?
Yes bind another 2 years contract.
2. If not, can I just opt out of the promo at any time?
3. In your opinion, do you think the promo is worth it?

Guys, by any chance Huawei HG8240H5 ONU will get spoilt due to life span etc?

Been using TIME since 2017 and WFH since March 2020. Can't afford to have downtime. I have spare router but not the ONU.

Just having a thought in case the ONU fails.
