not at all. still own the modem from TIME. anyway, i got my line installed, bridge mode all fix and running well. i am happy with TIME right now, especially the customer service much easy to approach, also friendly though.

Can anybody confirm whether TIME plan to have coverage at Sky Medirien? I have checked surrounding condo like rafflesia condo, melur condo or capers have coverage.

I plan to sign up with TIME at current place ( have coverage) and move to sky Meridien once it’s completed. I’m afraid that if there is no coverage then penalty of rm 500 will be imposed as the by the time I move next year the contact is still less than 24 months.

I transfered from Astro IPTV to Time exclusive recently.. the installers took away my old time modem and replace with this ONT2 in 1 as well.. now I can't use my Asus AX3000 router. Is there anyway I can configure the ONT to function only as a modem?? I can't seem to do I from the menu. This ONT coverage not as good as my AX-3000 not to mention simultaneous device support.

Anyone know if Internet installation is allowed in condos during FMCO?

Yes we do perform Installation by following strict SOPs.

Management giving me trouble saying that SOP don't allow new installation, only allow fixing during FMCO. However I've looked through Strata management SOP and although it expressly allows fixing of electrical and plumbing during FMCO, but nothing mention on new installation, only cannot do renovation and moving house.

Management has the final say whether to allow the Installation based on the situation in each property.

Anyone got any news/articles clarifying this ah? Difficult wfh with my shitty mobile data only.

I just installed time fiber for my rented unit 2 months ago.
Was on 100mbps with the Huawei HG8145V5 modem.
My rented unit is 1004sqf, modem in the living room. I sleeping in the last room furthest room from the modem. Is it normal if I don’t get signal from furthest room with just the modem? Do I need the omnimesh node?
In between the modem and the further room is a bedroom and a bathroom.

My room can get either 30mbps or no signal at all. The Huawei HG8145 is that bad ? Just 1004sqf condo.
From modem to my room 7 meter like that.

Before this during my university time, unifi with DIR 850L in a 1200 sqf condo no dead zone. That is few years ago technology.
I don’t need full speed in my room. But no signal in my room is unacceptable.

I can't find the item Huawei HG8145V5 OmniMesh Router or the Optical Network Terminal in the selfcare portal -> shop
May I know how can I request for one?

Distance from my modem (red circle) to the spot in my room (purple) colour is about 7m. That the best spot to get 30mbps in the room. If I lying down on the bed which is further to the left side of the picture. Then zero signal.

So impossible if you ask me stand inside the purple circle inside my room everytime I want to use the internet.

Yeah, why not? After replaced, I can save up 1 power point to power separate wifi router and I can request for free OmniMesh to widen my wifi coverage since the new Huawei HG8145 is 2 in 1 modem+Wifi and Mesh router

No power socket at that area and the power cable come with the modem very short too.
