I've been searching for the answer to my question in this thread but I cannot find it. So, here goes:

I'm a TIME use since 2019, which I got from an ownership transfer. My contract with TIME is already expired last year.

I am moving to a new building next month and looking at TIME relocation service. If my understanding is correct, since I don't have an on-going contract with TIME, I cannot apply for the relocation service is it?

If it is true, what is the best, cheapest and quickest way to go about it? Should I terminate my current service and sign up for a new service after I have move in?

anyone got problem with TIME connection randomly get disconnected, then reconnect back by itself then in less than an hour it disconnect and reconnect
Yes, it happens occasionally on couple of older router models.

i just happened recently, used for like 2 years dont have such problem, sometime when blowing strong wind or raining also will have this problem, but i doubt is the weather that is causing this
The only possibility the 2 factors would affect your line performance is where the fibre connection outdoor was not done properly & exposed. Normally these 2 factors will not affect the line performance.

called to the customer support, they help to reset port (something similar to unifi) but the problem is still the same, i complain again then they say will send a technician to check, and right after i complained the line is okay again, when the technician called he said he cant do anything also if the line is okay
Not really, he can at least make sure the router is indeed with latest firmware, check the fibre readings etc.

I just installed Time today, but now the providing hg8145v5, no more separate router and converter.
Problem is I have just bought a Dlink Dir-x5460, how am I gonna hook on it? Use lan?

Hi all.

I would like to have a second wifi point which can add coverage to all my rooms and having access to wired ethernet to my workspace. Is getting a second wifi router will help? Or does mesh system will works better?

100mbps user with default router tp-link ac1200.

If yes, does any cheap router in shopee will work for this? If not, any recommendation? Doesn't need high end router as the max speed is 100mbps only, just looking for better coverage and stability.

Been trying to find out in the Live Chat but couldnt find the answer. Its been 2 days and when I check, the bill is still unpaid. Hope someone can help me out.

hello time community, im gonna get my fibre installed soon, is there any do's dont't or tips tricks, the installers have sent me some basic info, just wondering if there was a specific post here that talks about it from a user perspective, thanks!

i saw the time broadband reseller is setting up tent at my area to get people to subscribe to Time broadband but time web site does not list my area under their coverage areas, what that means? Is it if i sign up Time broadband now, i have to wait for them to activate the service at my area ?

I am using Maxis broadband now  which sucks big time and my two years contract with them will expire in June 12th, i do hope i can subscribe Time here.

i did see a fiber cable installed along the longkang behind my house, not sure is that the time broadband fiber cable...

Guys, how do you request for a public IP? TIME guys are coming in tomorrow but the installer isn't so sure of what to do Hopefully since he's around he can help set up at the same time.

Hi Time users in Penang,

For past few days do you experience slow ping or have to try few times only can access to certain webpage.

This happens only at night time like 8pm onwards.

Edited: After reboot my router seem okay now. Maybe router issue.

anyone used ZenWIFI AC - CT8 with Time Fiber before? possible to replace this with the Time provided router?

Why at night after 7+pm, the line always get unstable.

Hi I am planning to create separate VLANs for PC/Phones and IoT devices. Currently have Time Fibre Broadband 500MBps installed.

Planning to use DLink devices.

Would appreciate comments / help on whether this setup will allow me to create 3 VLANs -

1. Secure LAN (PC, Phones, iPads)
2. IoT LAN (aircond fridge, smart home hubs/devices)
3. Guest LAN

Horrible... Time does DNS proxy.
No matter what DNS you use, they will proxy to Time DNS server.

Only way to prevent this is to do DNS over HTTPS.
