Is P99 postpaid good? Any feedback? Was planning to take either this or the Digi i100. Coming from unifi

My honest advice. If u really want Umobile and not planning to tethering / hotspot , take a lower plan. At least you swear lesser.

Hero P99 is only good if u need unlimited Hotspot with 3GB free data roaming (selected countries only )

I was formerly from old Hero P99 non unlimited plan downgrade to Hero p79. Now the speed is shitty at night or late evening, so it doesnt justify paying extra. Cause you are using the same station same network with those paying lower package than us.

I chose p79 because of Video Onz and App onz - something i use frequently. But after seeing what YooDo can offer at lower price i might port out .

Been listening to BFM in the morning and I noticed that it minuses my main data instead of utilizing the Music On? Anyone else is facing this issue as well?

Yes. I'm using 3g all the while cause my phone and MIFI is all 3g only. Only wife has newer 4G phone (and can even support TD LTE).

daytime the speed is tolerable. Night time..you need to prepare high blood pressure pills; YouTube can't even load at 144P at times. It was only recently their network has become shitty. Past few years has been fine.

Digi on the other hand the speed is fine. Their only issue is network signal.

I going to port out soon. I have been travelling around in klang valley, from desa park city to klang, from subang to segambut.. most of the time the waze cant detect the location and caluculate the road. Urgently need hotspot to do my work and it fail to load the data. I will just port out and wait them to be upgrade.

UMobile good with Unlimited Data plan...of course on phone...
UMobile plan all rockssss...

Tak suka ..Keluar lo...

UMobile when 1st subcribed will always have Ommmph factor.....for firsr few month.....and if you lucky will continue forever..

But the real fact is UMobile stinks after few month....complaint also useless...UMobile say nothing wrong or pipeline to expand "kambing" soon.
MCMC also never do anything....

Better port out or try other new Telco lo..
Nowadays new mobile phone can take almost all band lo...

Yes and this is what Umobile replied to me :
They have alot of work for other places. Meanwhile I'm considering porting to YooDoo since Celcom in my area is good (tested with Tunetalk). Havent tested Digi yet.

Download and upload need to be good for balance and stable connection. Bad upload speed could mean bad latency too.

Well, U Mobile CS is very honest since they would tell you like "no tentative date for upgrade plan". Not like the CHEATING Digi, promises to do so many upgrades but NONE has they done.

Oops sorry. My bad. Wrong structual of words. Apologies.

Should had read "Unlimited data with 30gb hotspot".

Though the odd thing is - Im using P79 , doesnt mentioned anything about Hotspot in their web yet it allows me to use on my 3G router (which is essential considered hotspot in a way).

Share to many users. That I can confirm.
Previously I tried subscribing to GX50 unlimited, that didn't work on my 3G router. Line connected but cannot even open 1 webpage.
Then I plugged it into my own handphone without hotspot enable and it was able to browse or connect as per normal.

Therefore I conclude that Umobile successfully blocked any form tethering / hotspot it detected when plugged into my 3G modem. ranting.gif , thats what that leads me to "upgrading" to Hero package.

Yes I know its written in their T&C that non-smartphone / hotspot is not allowed in GX50. Who doesn't love unlimited data.

Hi,
Anyone provide the service to change my U-mobile postpaid plan to prepaid?
I do not wish to go personally and purposely to crowded U-mobile service center for the above purpose. Just wish to know any service provider can do the change.
Hope someone can enlighten me here. Thank you.

You can go to any shops with u mobile signage as storefront. I went to the starling mall to change from post paid to prepaid. There was no queue
