QUOTE(acid_head @ Mar 11 2019, 04:59 PM) This is my question also. I'm using Huawei Honor series phone, twice. Both also having the same problem, but I do agree with you that service provider don't provide GPS signal. However I always appear "error calculating" on waze. Do you know what is the problem? Yes calculation error is related with telco not gps. Gps only tell the phone where you are. It requires data to retrieve data to bring you to your destination by giving route and most gps app don't load entire Malaysia map only within your area This post has been edited by Theoutspokenguy: Mar 13 2019, 08:19 AM

Try changing that to google ones, and it can be much faster than the phone trying to fetch a-gps data from china. However, if you are in China, you may need the China ones as Google ones are likely banned. For example, Xiaomi phones are using China based a-gps data, once you change the setting to google ones, the gps will lock much faster than the default settings and much accurate too.

I am using a Korean phone. My experience is nothing to do with a gps. The route map incomplete it cant load it cant calculate. There an option in map setting to download the maps. U Mobile top up FAQ misleading. It seems to imply top up stacks to 365 days but it doesn't QUOTE Power Prepaid Plan & Unlimited Power Prepaid Plan Simply top up your account to stay active. Every RM1 top up is equivalent to 1 day of active period. The maximum active period at any one time is 365 days.

I have all 3 Tunetalk , Hotlink and Umobile (but my Umobile used as broadband at home) I like Tunetalk because it has good data plans and 10gb free every month. And cheapest international roaming withib Axiata group. Hotlink only wins in coverage but speed not that fantastic yet expensive for its data. If u call alot then Hotlink Flex is worth it. Especially Flex Plus
