QUOTE(dgboy @ Oct 4 2023, 04:06 PM) another way under U Mobile is to top up RM365 for one year validity I thought UM already suspended credit sharing until further notice. Correct me if I'm wrong.can share or sell your excess credit with friends and family theoretically, the cost of sharing out all that credit in RM10 blocks is far less than RM30 (RM365/10.50 x 0.50 = RM17.38?) recipient will receive RM9.80 for each transaction, meaning further losses of RM6.95 just need to watch the limits on sharing credit, such as maximum of RM10 per day and RM100 per month |

My account cannot roam at SG & TW. Really disappointed with U Mobile.
Report made and no action taken at all. |

hello guys,
seeking advice here for umobile packages. I am still with GX50 since the launch, pretty satisfied with the service for my usage at the moment as I am in KL/have wifi access most of the time. Due to that I have not been looking at the newer packages, and am wondering if I am missing out on the 5G/or any savings to be made with better benefits? Thanks |

QUOTE(Sephyr @ Sep 30 2023, 03:02 PM) My phone cannot receive incoming calls... but I can call out without any problem. Does anyone know why? I'm using an old phone (Redmi Note 5). This problem only started happening after umobile sms me about some 5G / VoLTE update or something like that. Do I need to get a new phone? Same happen to me. My phone is not supporting VOLTE. I have emailed CS and they replied they "phasing" out 3G.Hence I guess the only option is to change to newer phone... |

Bro, try this belowHence I guess the only option is to change to newer phone... VoLTE is generally disabled on our Xiaomi smartphones. To activate VoLTE on a Xiaomi , Redmi or POCO we only have to do the following steps: Dial * # * # 86583 # * # *. After that, the message " VoLTE Carrier check was disabled " will appear, thus activating VoLTE on our Xiaomi. Next we will go to Settings> SIM cards and mobile networks Once inside we will activate the option Use VoLTE . If our Xiaomi is a Dual SIM smartphone, the VoLTE option will be found in Settings> SIM cards and mobile networks> SIM1 / SIM2. ineser liked this post

My non-VoLTE 4G Android device can still receive incoming calls and send outgoing calls. ....... I noticed that incoming calls are on U Mobile and outgoing calls are on Celcom, as shown by the Status Bar on top of the screen of my 4G device. My Mobile Network setting is on LTE/WCDMA/GSM auto. . Note that U Mobile also runs on Celcom's 2G network as a fallback (by paying Celcom some fees), eg for non-VoLTE voice calls and SMS. .
