For me I was in a similar situation as you and I downgraded to U38

cheaper, and I dont even get close to finishing the 60GB

I do appreciate the now uncapped speed for when I need it

I too have just received the same U Loyalty Program rebate of RM10 for 12 months for my Postpaid GX50 plan. This is the 2nd time I got it since becoming a U Mobile subscriber in Jan 2019. For my location, U Mobile's GX50 suits my casual Internet Broadband and (free) voice-calling needs. .......
Now, I'm "contracted" for 12 months if I do not want to lose the monthly rebates = cannot jump ship if there will be better Postpaid offers.

I'm sticking with GX50 because some months I have used >60GB per month but <100GB - FUP is 100GB per month.
....... GX50's unthrottled speed for video-streaming is 3Mbps = 720p/HD since June 2021. Before that, it was 1.5Mbps or SD/480p.

Have you tried exceeding 60GB per month and then stream videos at the throttled 512kbps.?

Note that live-streaming videos requires double the speed.

If I were you, I would downgrade further from Postpaid U38 to Prepaid U25 ("unlimited" data @3Mbps with FUP at 30GB), ie from RM40 to RM25 per month = save RM15 per month, ... because smartphones with 6" screen only need 360p/1Mbps for video-streaming for the few times when you do not have Wifi access, esp when you are "mobile" or travelling. .......

Suited for mobile devices for users whose internet is decent but not too fast. The video quality is better than what you will get in 240p. We don’t recommend 360p on laptops and Smart TVs as the quality will suffer. Use 360p when you want to save bandwidth costs.
