I do not think Umobile is going with DNB btw
*

They did want to use DNB, but they didn't want shares in DNB just like Maxis

I am itching to migrate from Unifi Mobile to U Mobile. I cannot stand the constant network data slow down and drops from Unifi Mobile anymore. Getting worse since 3g shut down.

Any Issues with U Mobile? Like network drops, unstable data and etc????

been using this Umobile since 2013 until now, I can say most locations have U mobile lines now. and most place come with LTE basis. Last time Kodiang Kedah, Jerantut, Pahang, Lenggeng N9 (place that I have been and check the line), a few years ago 3G with low signal, now all with LTE. when I outstation in Labuan kampung area, the U line is indeed faster than Maxis and Celcom there.

Unifi mobile used to be good. I used them since launched under Webe brand name. Like you said line keeps stuck, gone missing etc .....this became more frequent after Jendela 3g shut down.. I'm fed up already. Moving forward.

Btw guys... Bet lots of U experts here... I've never use U network before.

All these years I have been moving around TM-TOUCH, Celcom, Digi, maxis and Unifi Mobile.

So if not mistaken U mobile is mvno network? Who's network it's riding on??

What weed are you smoking?

Mandarin telco have been using its own network since 2014-ish

Coverage may wary

Best way to test is to get a prepaid sim and test high speed quota internet

If satisfied then only touch postpaid

I think U Mobile used to use Maxis/Celcom for fallback back then (not 100% certain on this)
but now they have their own network, they're not an MVNO
I use their GX50 plan, if I claim the pendala free data thing, it unlocks high speed and its honestly quite fast compared to my yoodo sim which is using celcom

give them a try if you want

I'd like to state that I've completely lost touch with all these updates on Telco stuffs for a long, long time man. So yeah, that's me.

But thanks for updating.

free is 15gb broo,

incoming call is unlimited

i bought the new iphone 14 and turns out umobile does not support esim transfer hahaha so I am not able to use my mys number for a while.

nooo umobile in malaysia uses there own line

2g roaming is on maxis

i would say line in KL + tourist hotspot cities is not as good as maxis or digi, but to me it is better than celcom haha

celcom every time i go klcc or sunway pyramid confirm many shop no line

Indeed Umobile is not bad but of course better than Celcom where my new housing area moved in almost a year. Only Celcom with poor indoor 4g..where Maxis, Digi, UMobile has their tower to support the residence here. Plus last week Maxis re-optimize their tower for better 4G coverage I can see some changes indoor full 4G.

I just hopped onto U Mobile this morning. I took the P98 + 1 family line P38. Seems pretty solid and good. Far better than Unifi Mobile (7+ years using) that i ported out from.
