I guess it's simple to make Proton a great company again...
All the Gov have to do is make it a true MALAYSIAN company and not focusing on it being a MALAYSIAN company...
I dun believe that of the thousands of Malaysians studying engineering, none of them is as good if not better than engineers of other countries...
So, juz forget about personal pride and focus on NATIONAL pride!!!

I guess it's just impossible to make Proton a great, or would I say a NORMAL company. Just look at the complains in this thread!

Oh, ya, engineering education here is like 50% of developed countries. 50% is a god damn fact. What we've achieved in automobile engineering so far? THE ANSWER IS NOTHING

Proton, you shall burn in hell

Why doesn't the government admit Proton as a failure? The only reason Proton has survived so far is because of the unfair price imposed on other car manufacturer's.The car is of extreme low quality, substandard parts, and worse of all the customer service blows.

I find it laughable that Proton actually thought they would get investers. I mean c'mon, invest money in me!!! I will spend it on wine, women and song, spend 500 million send them the bill, and yeah, I can give a speech and hope that impresses the VIP folk and yes, keeping my fingers crossed, expect Proton to give me a call....

There would be a higher chance of Hell freezing over than getting that call, btw my land line, the telephone has no dial tone, so yhaa I'd put all my money and stocks in government public listed companies.....

just a rant

Speaking about GLC, MAS now is able to make turnover and now its back to profitable stages. Proton meanwhile, well u fill in the blanks. sweat.gif

Proton = GG. All the major companies like MAS n Proton r losing big time. Wonder how the heck they can lose so much money after the gov poured so much $$$ WHICH is actually the tax we pay. Any good businessman will know how to use money to make more money unless  all those $$$ went into pockets... Malaysia boleh~ I'd rather see the gov patching up pot holes on our roads with our tax money. Just my 2 cents neways...

u can check lembik lah's pockets, hairy jalaludin's pocket, kerismudin's pocket, "tak suka, keluar"'s pocket, semi value's pocket, Dr bila nak Mampus's pocket and many more...

i am sure it will be there...

Personally...I always prefer Proton to have a Japanese partner because Japanese always make cheap , pratical and very reliable cars...I remember when Proton had Mitsubishi as a partner, their quality were higher and much reliable too.

we can do our part. Consumer power. Just wait, sooner or later, it will be another MG Rover, then Geely or some other company will buy it and ship the whole factory to China
