I'm thinking, one way to save Proton, ditch excise duty on all Proton cars and make it uber cheap, make it minimal profit but selling mass quantity. Savvy AMT for 30k, now that's good. Savvy Sedan AMT for 35k, Gen2 40k, Gen2 sedan 45k, new Waja 50k, Perdana 60k.

By then Proton factory will be kept rolling... better than having it haunted by ghost.

Later our Gov bring VW to Australia meeting and let them see how they used to protect Holden.
