Hypermount is our resident Proton lover. As you can see in the above quotes, he promised to cut his penis if the proposed VW-Proton takeover fails.

I doubt the VW chief is even gonna bother anymore. The terms will always be the same - the foreign investing company will be on the losing end. So long as Proton/Government is not willing to lose face, there will be no deal.

Besides that, who would wanna takeover a dying carmaker with declining market share who call the shots instead of VW. IMHO, VW CEO won't be so low to agree to Proton's terms which doesn't sound like they're sincere enough to have a foreign partner.all we want r good cars.. its not that im not proud that my home country has a car manufacturing comp that is truly own by malaysians.. but wats the meaning of proud when all this comp comes out wit r rubbish?? we've been cheated 4 yrs now.. so govt, do the right thing.. give us good cars that we truly deserve.. ive been discussing wit my mom the other day when this vw proton matter came out in buletin utama the other day.. she said, who in their right mind would wanna buy sumthin that they cant truly have a say in it??!! |

QUOTE(Vv.SoViEt.vV @ Jun 3 2007, 10:27 AM) It proves people like you are easily fooled. VW deal off long ago before our prime minister announce it to public. If you thought Proton/VW will materialise, you are naive. Actually the other people is foolish enough for not understand the complexity of politic bickerings betweeen the Cabinet ministers. At one time, it was announced VW had secured the deal, the other camp did not agree to that (e currernt administration who have interest in Naza) then Pak Lah with no balls can't make a decision and tried to condescend to both camps. If proton doesn't hold value much, why the f*** foreign marques showed intrest in the first place. Miss TDM, at least he could force them to reach final consensus with a bit of less freedom, a price to pay to get things done fast. |
