Paul site says like that, but if you ask me, I am more inclined towards believing the MTEN people trying to give 3 years of grace period if Proton can be profitable. Another thing is the unprofitable of proton I think can go as much as 2 bil in red than only offloading it. Now even though Q1 showing red, those people are not really worried, but hoping for Proton will come out with better models fast. Also lots of jobs are connected with proton, and aside from gov who will be a proton customer for years to come, like the french gov and pegeot, I am not sure if the normal consumer could care less of what happens. Honda City is the more frugal car and that test was done with the car loaded with goodies and people and drove like real life not petrol saving tactics as the other car which entered the MBR.

Whatever happens, I had too much problem of being owner of 2 P1 cars in 8 year period, but both cars have different quality to it, only hope the Savvy, Satria is a good trend for things to come and not like Gen2 with door latch not even fitted properly at the assembly line or the 300 times opening and closing the car door will cause it to jam as those diplay models.
