Dr How just help me to change the string to 0.16 on yesterday. Now, my front teeth is pain. He said he is kind to me not to put bite stop on this month. Next month (4th month), he will put the bite stop and install the braces on my lower teeth. My mum ask me to stop it because she saw i getting thiner and thiner, she feel pain in heart. I said don't mention this anymore but give me more support.. i really need lot of supports for me to continue it.. That's why i always log to here..from this forum, a lot ppl are same like me..i know i do the right thing, no matter how "suffer" i am..

pain oni in the initial few days oni la..tat's for me la..coz diff ppl diff de..
anyway,,just front teeth pain abit,,and the behind wire cucuk my mouth causing pain jelo..but, doc wil give one kinda wax(safe to eat--but not advisable la..it will melt when hot water/food in,so remove it bfore eat)

Sazzzhi, thanks for your support (i really need it) .. the behind wire, u can ask Dr. How to cut it short.. it happenned to me as well.. caused my inner mouth a lot "hole", so, i ask Dr. how to cut it short and paste some glue to close the end of string. I never use the wax lo.. if you need, can take from me in FOC.

i just wearing the braces last week, but so expensive since mine is clear self-ligating, not sure the brand mabye gac in-ovation, & the bracket is smaller than damon......i've some missing teeth due to extraction & by nature (impacted), so got no choice, hv to wear braces...very shy to talk to ppl cause no front lower teeth & have to wait for 1.5 to 2 years until the gap close....

I also just changed the string on my bottom teeth. wah, really pain when eating.. somemore the next day (after the appointment) my mum prepared fried chicken! I still eat it though.. although took like 45 minutes to finish that 1 piece....

but hoh... since wearing braces, I really get thinner leh.. good side-effect... hahahahah

Those gal out there, if you want to keep fit, you may consider to install braces.. but not for guys (Guy too thin not nice)..haha..I wish get fater but with braces.. haii.. will go to gym next week.

im sad..braces=did not work on me..i thought it would help me diet as well..
maybe i eat too much..im gaining weight(10kgs) since last 6months...and even I just got my braces for 1month++ , but my weight seem increasing..

the dentist is very nice and professional...

uhh...just had my braces at the upper teeth...at How's. Just got back. Need to stitch the hole in my pocket. woowoooo...not yet feel the pain so far...later la...sigh...kesiannya...cant get to eat awesome food...

Ya.. expecially if you r using Damon 3 system.. for my case, i only have "feel" on 2nd day. According to Dr. How, he will put the braces on my lower teeth next month. Not sure how it will be.. But i am glad to see my upper already move in and tally in 4 months time..

wahh...weird or not...till now no pain leh...issit a bad sign or good sign?...or teeth not moving??..guess what, my bracket came off today while brushing teeth. grr...need to fix it tomorrow...and how on earth you guys brush your teeth ah?..so hard leh...cant even see behind..duno what am i brushing...i scare brush too hard then wire/bracket putus ...if too soft macam whats the point of brushing...lolz...give me tips plsss....need to get up 1/2 hr to brush teeth before go to work...sigh...gone my 1/2 hr sleep...and then hor, i cant eat awesome food, only porridge ...ciss...how long i need to eat porridge wor...so ke lian...u guys feel da pain when eating or not eating?..coz i dont feel the pain now...only when i eat...when i try to bite...it feels a tiny lil bit pain...maybe due to the pressure of the braces...am not sure...but i try not to bite lo....if not later bracket or wayar putus habis...

Check out the Post#127 from ikanpari9, he provide us a list of orthodontist in Klang Valley. However, I never heard any good orthodontist in OUG or Puchong area. if in KL, few of my friend like the orthodontist near KLCC but i prefer DR. How (Bangsar) because he is quite pro and have Damon 3 system.
