I ate pizza after one week i installed my braces...hehe.. rolleyes.gif

oh..tat shud be normal cos me also find kinda hard for my certain teeth for the beginning stage, my teeth is too crowded until the brush couldnt go in... doh.gif have to be careful lor..brush slowly n steadily..shud be fine my dear.. if really cant go in then dun paksa after ur wire broken leh...use floss instead.. Now my teeth is more tidy d so i use bigger brush like christmas tree one (not sure have u seen b4 onot)
*
yea.. i took yr advice on that. my front teeth are too crowded, so i just let it be.. floss it smile.gif. But that christmas one is kinda big for my teeth, i use another one, the straight one.. it is easier to put in between the wire, maybe because my teeth is very crowded sad.gif
oh ya, hey guys, wanna ask.. do u all floss every day ar? haha.. coz sometimes i feel tired and lazy to floss.. tongue.gif And about mouth wash, the nurse suggested me to use oral-B coz it's alcohol free.. but oral-B is darn expensive( luckily there is this promotion with twin pack costing rm21+ lol ) .. but if the promotion ends, i wonder if i could afford to continue using this as the normal price is rm 16+ rclxub.gif .. I saw the guardian product of mouth wash is kinda affordable.. and it is alcohol free, so i think i will switch to that one after i finish using my current.. currently stocked up 4.. lol.. so which brand are all of u using? My nurse said Listerine is not good as it contains alcohol (ethanol from the label) and i think i remember somebody mention something bad about Listerine before in the previous posts.. thanx for all advice smile.gif

I'm using Oral-B cos was recommended by the nurse also. Anyway, i'm more comfortable with Oral-B cos not too pedas. About flossing... I've never floss in my life cos not sure how. So even after wearing braces also i dont floss. The nurse didnt ask me to floss also....So i only brush, use interdental brush and use mouth wash...thats all.

Dont worry... all these stains were already there long time ago when your teeth were crowded. The stain happened to be there when u couldnt brush some area that you cant see. And now that your teeth are straighter, the stain shows.

Ask doctor to remove it if it bothers you too much or go for scalling/polish. I had one stained teeth also. It shows when my teeth got straighter. I told doctor about the stain. He said its ok.

But its too disturbing to me... At the end, i managed to removed it myself... Hahaha... The stain is something like plaque, i think. But if you're not sure how to remove, its better to get professional help lo. Dont hurt yourself.

It's my 6th week of wearing damon 3 now. My teeth is considered over crowded and doctor informed me it is not necessary to extract any tooth. I do not notice any changes yet. Is it normal? I didn't feel pain at all since day 1. Is that why the teeth is not moving cos not tight enuff? My next appointment is next week. I feel frustrated for not seeing anything changed after 6 weeks. sad.gif

It's my 4th week now. I'm using damon 3mx. I don't have to extract any tooth as well. I think my case is almost same as you. I do feel pain since beginning, yet no movement. I guess this should be normal...

Tomorrow will be my next appointment to install my lower jaw. Nervous...

I just went for my 2nd appointment today. Doctor installed lower jaw for me. Before installing, he asked me whether I want it installed today or some other time. Without hesitating or further question, I said today.

After installing, he said he has to install bite stopper for me else the teeth at my upper jaw will bite off the newly installed brackets at my lower jaw. That's the consequence of choosing to install lower jaw today. But... he did not tell me that earlier, else I would have think twice. Now my upper and lower jaw cannot touch at all. How to eat? Can someone share with me on how to eat with bite stopper? And anyone know how long the bite stopper will be there?

Besides, I asked doctor if it is advisable to extract my wisdom tooth. I have 1 wisdom tooth at my lower jaw. He said yes and it will make my face smaller as well. However, normal price for wisdom tooth extraction is RM650. Discounted price will be RM500. Is it really so expensive at some other dentists as well? I'm seriously considering to extract my wisdom tooth but hopefully with a better price. Any recommendation?

Guys,
I want to wear braces.
Paid rm500 for initial fee.
The doctor told me i dont have to remove any tooth.
I wanted to wear Damon 3.
But the doctor seems like encourage me to use Innovation C.
He told me the result is the same, however Innovation C is cheaper rm1K.
Damon System = Rm5500 and Innovation C = Rm4500

1) Any idea whats the differences between Innovation C and Damon3? Which one is better?
2) Is it wise to extract wisdom tooth to make my face smaller? And by doing that will it really makes my face smaller?
I feel that my face is a little bit wide. I want to make it small.

Cheaper? i'm using InOvationC. Mine is more expensive than Damon 3.
Doctor says its same result also. I've been wearing for 9 months plus already. I see movement after 2 months. Then major movements.
After about 4-5 months, my teeth are straight already. Just that i hav to close gaps cos i removed 4 teeth.
Since if u no need to remove, then should be very fast.

The different? same technology just different branding. Inovation C... C= ceramic. So If ceramic, the look will be different, as in not so obvious lo...

Oh I see, if the result suppose to be the same, may i know what was the reason u chose Innovation C since its more expensive than Damon 3.

From the clinic i went to, InOvation is more expensive than Damon for RM200. But however, if same price, i will go for InOvation C also. Cos of the ceramic = transparency. As i'm working already. So i feel not nice to show too much metals.

Haha,,, So thats why i rather pay extra RM200 for ceramics.

i dont think u can simply change... When u few thousands, the payment is to buy the brackets sets. Once u decide on the type of system, u cant change already. IF u want, probably u have to pay for a few more thousand to buy the new brackets set.
