They seem to have a lot of extra curricular activities don't they? Like Futsal etc.

Btw it seems like from the pictures posted, majority is Bumi staff. Non Bumi staff numbers pale a lot on comparison? Harder to enter?
*
unfortunately, non-bumi staff don't join extra curricular activities.....not all, but most of them prefer happy hour, etc.... hehehe

i mean do people come at 9am sharp, sit at their desk for 8 hours, have lunch in less than 1 hour - not more, and are expected to go back home late?

so basically they dont do any real sales?

the other Petronas companies in the group would have to get it from this company right?
or does it have to fight with other companies?

also, does it have other clients outside of petronas group?

Bonus and benefits same with Petronas?
Do they offer high employer contribution for EPF?
Normally how many months can be obtained for annual bonus and do contract staff have bonus?
Half-yearly or annual review?
What's the fastest timeline a person can jump a job grade?
If you're hired as contract, means you can only have a promotion, after you been converted to perm?
Meritocracy highly practised inside this organisation?
Trainings?

About the sort of software they do, since they aren't software powerhouse they will mostly based the talent recruit on supporting their vendor systems with close tie with some of their vendor companies? So does this mean within PetICT, the jobs are more sort of governance, regulatory, support kind of thing. That is ensuring that problems and bugs are fixed, reported to vendor and so on?

Do they station staff to work at vendor locations instead of PetICT office?

Normally how is the reporting structure like? If one goes in he will mostly be exposed and evaluated by his immediate supervisor only?

Finally the bigger question is, are the skillsets learned here more of a niche skillset or is the skillset very extensible to all organizations out there? Eg, if one is a Java programmer he can expect everywhere will be have a demand for Java programmer. How about those vendor-software-specific skillset in PetICT? Or is PetICT more about learning people skills like project management, negotiation?

Without knowing the project scope, there is no way to tell six months is too short or too long.
But in my experience, most projects could be delivered within 2 - 6 months time.

1. No, lesser than PETRONAS.
2. No.
3. Around 2 - 2.5 months, positively correlated with oil prices. No idea on contract staff.
4. Annual review.
5. This is at your Manager's & GM's discretions and won't be the same across different team.
6. No idea.
7. If meritocracy means visibility to top management, then yes. Otherwise, no.
8. Depends on your team. There are a lot of training opportunities but chances are you won't have enough time to attend most due to busy work schedule.
9. Generally, yes. This is called "Flip the Pyramid" internally.
10. PET ICT office for support and sometimes at PETRONAS OPUs for projects.
11. Yes, but you may be assigned to projects and need to report to Project Managers.
12. Due to "Flip the Pyramid" approach, you will acquire more managerial, rather than technical skill sets. If you are technically inclined, you might want to consider working for PET ICT vendors.

I hire contractors only for two months due to scope of my project.
So, this is possible.

You are expected to complete 8 hours of work daily.
If you go back at 3PM, chances are you will be required to standby at night for some maintenance work.
