Pay on Mon-Fri to earn 1x Treatpoint.
Pay on Sat-Sun, you won't get any TP and rebate.

M2 Visa/MasterCard is not a cashback credit card! You don't get any cashback on any transactions.

Try this weekend (the first weekend that you can use Amex on Shopee transaction, except top up Shopee pay) and you will get the very first result on coming Wednesday.

P/S: I will use Amex to pay RM7.50 for my electricity account RM10 this weekend. I want to know if Shopee - Bill Payment (Digital goods) is eligible for weekend CB.

Good if weekend CB > Shipping charge + discount/rebate (ShopeePay)
Shipping voucher is not needed for digital goods eg Food vouchers, bill payment, mobile reload, Setel credit RM7/RM50/RM100. But I am not sure if the payment is eligible for weekend cashback.

Another issue is the good days are not always on Sat or Sun.

Frankly speaking, I seldom use Amex in Kuching now. I use SarawakPay for transactions less than RM20 (which may give better rebate than using Amex).

Ikhwan Mastercard (5% on Friday and Saturday) is good at supermarkets including Upwell, H&L, Everrise (Supermarket section), Aeon (Supermarket only), D-Valley, CS Mini Market, Everwin, Unaco.

If the transaction is posted, fill in the dispute form and Maybank will reverse it.
But most likely the transaction will not be posted.

I no longer use Maybank CC to pay directly at Sesco's counter or e-kiosk or SEB Cares (online). I already know I will get 1xTP only on weekdays, no CB on weekends.

I am paying at Razerpay App, Lazada bill payment (Lazada Wallet), Shopee bill payment (ShopeePay), CC/DC during spending campaigns, RM1 PIN transaction at Sesco e-kiosk or RM1 transaction at SEB Cares (online), SarawakPay. Most of the time >5% savings.

Siliconnet shared the CC facility from their online services eg paybillsmalaysia.com so it was not 6540 (ewallet). Even the Government-related transactions under paybillsmalaysia (Siliconnet) were not using Govt MCC most of the time (I kena Govt MCC a few times only in 2018-2019) since 2017, when Siliconnet switched the service provider from RHB to Maybank.

Anyone here can confirm this...

M2 Amex - Shopee Bill payment / mobile reload.

If successfully completed the payment on 28/11 & 29/11, the weekend CB is already credited on 1/12.

"Payment failed" many times then gave up.
Shopee digital goods section may have different MCC, from Shopee (purchases) and ShopeePay.

All reversed and coins returned.

"Payment failed" on 29/11/20 but the orders remained waiting for payment (I didn't cancel the orders). The orders were automatically cancelled by Shopee on 1/12 then Shopee returned the coins (new validity from 1/12/20 so will expire on 31/3/21).

M2 Visa/MasterCard don't give cashback to any transactions.
Not sure if Setel accept Amex now.

But most likely you will get weekend cashback if you use M2 Amex to pay Shopee for Setel RM7/RM50/RM100 credit at Setel.OS but RM50/100 won't always appear on Saturday/Sunday.
(good news is... 12/12/20 is Saturday)
