ahhh thanks bro. Sounds a bit like I went through with JomPay. Some bank allow credit cards, some not. My case is not time specific though. So I think have to try and looky see available or not.

And I don't have Maybank cards. Just my experience trying to pay from other banks. FPX still new to me. I'm just using it to help a friend recently to pay cash to SOCSO because I couldn't choose credit card. Payee specific maybe?
*
Not some bank, but some transactions allow CC; some are not.
Ie. Shopee (sometimes can, sometimes not, dunno why)
So far Socso and EPF cannot.

One quick question here, it is possible for me to convert my m2c, the come with gold card to Barcelona card?

Another question, it is possible for me to convert my gold card to platinum card since I qualified for entry requirement?
*
Yes can request but if your currently document with them not eligible they will ask you to provide updated documents. Last time when I request, because earlier document already meet requirement, they just give me a new visa signature card while maintaining my m2c gold card. Recently I request for upgrade from gold to platinum(for travel insurance with Amex), they mention will send new card and old card cancel.

mbb's sst charging is based on EXPIRY MONTH. your "2021" is the year, not the month.

refer FAQ: https://www.maybank2u.com.my/iwov-resources...ardsSST_FAQ.pdf

i've double-confirmed this with MBB CS few mins ago.

new card: SST charged immediately, and subsequently anniversary based on expiry month.
existing card: based on expiry month, including all subsequent cards that follows the 1st card's expiry month.

sorry not so und the bolded part, let says i have 3 conventional mbb card.
Card A - approved on Mar 18
Card B - approved on June 18
Card C - approved on August 18

Base on the bolded part , does it mean that all my 3 card will kena SST on Mar 19? Thanks.
*
Is it right that the SST is charged based on expiry month and not card issue month?

If i refer to Guideline from custom quoted below:

Cards issued before 1 September 2018 and valid for several years Service tax shall be imposed on the date of renewal and every 12 months after the renewal date.

Example 3
A new credit card is issued on 18 May 2018 with a validity period for five years. The issuer of the credit card shall impose a service tax in every monthly statement covering 18 May 2019, 18 May 2020, 18 May 2021 and 18 May 2020.

My case is very weird:
Card A - approved on Nov 16 - expiry month Nov
Card B - approved on Oct 17 - expiry month Oct
Card C - approved on Jun 18 - expiry month Oct

Card A & B expiry month follow card approval month, but, Card C follow Card B expiry. rclxub.gif

Yes, SST will be charged on each principal and supplementary credit card and charge card on the anniversary of the card approval date which is the date that printed on your card.

But, mbb didn’t follow approval date, for my case, card c approved in Jun, but card expiry date is Oct, only card A & B expiry date on card follow approval date

1+ am today got 2 SMS that my Maybank2Kard Amex was used on some online travel reservation website. Just called Maybank and they said there was a 3rd transaction (no SMS received by me). Obvious fraud so they've blocked the card yada yada.

No very recent transactions, last transactions were over the weekend (physical swipes at Village Grocer and Mcdonalds, as well as one charge on GSC). I've suspected for a long while based on reports from this thread that AMEX security is just crappy and cards can randomly get used for fraud....

The first no. in my statement says retail interest rate is 18% (9/8), they are just notifying and not charging me right? Did everyone have this as well?

That's why I have an online account to all my credit cards. I open them every few days to check my transactions. To see whether they are correct or not.

If you have a fraud transaction and you only check every few days there's a lot of transactions possible.
