sad.gif  I just checked back price I purchased my Poco F1, which is below rm1.3k
That's kinda the reason Poco F1 become famous and popular back then, that price with flagship SOC is a steal.

At that time, their proper flagship, the Mi 8 was 1,599. The Mi 10 now is 2,799, hence Poco F2 Pro will likely cost above RM2k now.

Yes it is true the upcoming Snap 768G has 5G modem "baked-in" ... But it is X52 modem and not X55 modem... so, at least the 5G modem is there for those who are interested to "try" using 5G spectrum before seriously investing on higher end 5G modem. So, spend less cash to "test-drive" the 5G performance rather than paying a lot of cash on 5G modem for no reason. Summore, there are 3 types of 5G spectrums. Dunno which one will our local telco implement later...

Me think any SRP above RM1,500 is non-Poco DNA... The F2 cosmetic and design philosophy is totally different than the F1. From notch to notch-less, from IPS to AMOLED, from plastic body to "glass-tic", from 18 watt charge to 30 watt charge, from non-NFC to NFC-ready, from non-IR blaster to IR-blaster-ready, etc. It has potential to destruct the mid-range market by bracing the previous F1 "hype/phenomenon"...

So, hopefully, Poco Team shall be releasing their secret project on the cheaper F2-series (maybe called as Poco F2 SE ?... mimics the iPhone SE) running Snap 768G with "almost" the rest of all other components the same as the F2 Pro; maybe can omit NFC and IR-blaster and built with plastic body... offering SRP of <RM1,500 for the base variant. The use of Snap 865 is a "waste" on consumer's pocket at the moment... The only thing that Snap 865 is better than the rest is the feature of "updatable" GPU drivers, which might improve the phone’s longevity... That's the super-power of Snap 865....

Perhaps Xiaomi have accidently bought a lot of Snap 865 from Qualcomm and now they need to rush to throw away these SoC before the next one is released...And then the Snap 768G is not in their inventory due to budget already eaten up by Snap 865...

Google Pixel 5 is touted to run Snap 768G...So, imagine the GCam running Snap 768G ported into Poco F2 SE ...

so I'm guessing the Poco F2 will be a rebadge of K30i with SD768?

It’ll be impressive if they can keep it below RM1.5k. If not, they enter lose the biggest advantage that drives the sale of the Pocophone. The price.
