Previous F1 and K30 price was a few hundreds ringgit difference but within RM1500+. Now 2020 and it's over RM2K
*
The SD865 is rumoured to be the cause of expensive flagships this year...

In essence, Qualcomm is making us pay for 5G tech before we can enjoy it...

Preserve battery life and guess what, the 90Hz/120Hz on Android looks similar like 60Hz in iOS

Anyway, I dont really need 120Hz, even for Gaming 60Hz is good enough
*
Well no doubt in most cases iOS seems more fluid than android, so I agree biggrin.gif .

QUOTE(Omochao @ May 12 2020, 07:52 PM)
And the soc is 855+, at least you know they are using a good high refresh rate panel on your device. The money you are paying has more value to it. Imagine i pay premium for 865,5g but stuck at 60hz. Don't wanna sound sorry, and no, I don't think higher refresh rate is going to be enabled by firmware updates, since is more reliant on the display panel instead.
*
Ouch, that hits the spot, cause I just bought the kind of phone that you speak of lololol šŸ¤£ļøšŸ¤£ļø. I absolutely agree that higher refresh rate is indeed one of the coolest features for flagships, but almost all of the flagships as of late have a circle or two of dead pixels in them that I can't stand of bangwall.gif... And having to use curve screens for half a decade, I've somewhat grown to dislike them. So my choice is terribly limited and obvious. I think consumers like me fall into a very very small market segment. Each to their own I guess hmm.gif

I’ll bite at that price smile.gif

That’s a true, SD865 flagship killer price!

From different perspective, K30 Pro Zoom Edition has slightly better camera I believe, and somewhat cheaper. Except that they don't support LTE B20 and only have China ROM for now. EU ROM is still in beta though.

QUOTE(attw @ May 12 2020, 09:25 PM)
K30 Pro isn’t available officially here right, as in Mi MY set?
*
Wish they have. Seems like F2P is going to penetrate our local market I think.

I sure hope it's possible. Afaik, K30 Pro and K30 Pro Zoom share the same firmware.

If I remember correctly, the Poco uses it’s own UI which is a little lighter than the standard MIUI right?

Hahaha, same here. I remember at one point I went hunting high and low for the Kevlar or armoured version of this phone but it was always out of stock then in the end I gave up and my interest shifted elsewhere.

Lol quite an experience you got there. Me on the other hand was holding back from getting 1+ 7p, eyeing for 8p instead. But when several consistent leaks got out, I was terribly disappointed with the punch hole. Very disappointed to the point that I didn't even care when they officially announced... Why oneplus why šŸ˜„ļøšŸ˜„ļø

Uses POCO Launcher and the settings and customization is far lesser than most android flagship

Try to use other Android Flagship and you will notice huge difference with Poco despite having the best processor, software plays a part

Me going from Poco is my first android and going to Asus really kinda impress me on the software part

Patience is the key. But I bet you already have plenty of phones lining up before poco reaches our shores šŸ˜†

Jatuh ke tangan budak semua bende boleh jadi. I remember my friend was unboxing his Sammy Note8 at Samsung stores then flew out of his hand when his kids ran towards him and hugged him suddenly.

On the contrary bro, I've put off my buying of mobile phones for now due to the incredible pricing. Was eyeing a Mi 10 Pro and an OP8 Pro but no way I'm paying their asking prices at above RM3k. Happier to look for midrange phones to try now. That's why am hoping for the F2 Pro to reach soon smile.gif
