Been surviving with 64GB since I bought it in Sept 2018 lol My old Redmi Note 3 the earpiece dieded after few years of usage. This F1 everything on it still works padahal same manufacturer. |

I added a SD card. My old Redmi Note 3 the earpiece dieded after few years of usage. This F1 everything on it still works padahal same manufacturer. But, sometimes, can feel it lacks and screen hang. Planning to buy a new hp and considering the Realme GT2Pro(CN). |

my mom's F1 died. Totally cant turn on/charge. She was listening to spotify when it died. So shouldn't be the display issue.
Next would be either battery, charging port and finally motherboard. So opened it and swapped battery/charging port with a spare F1 and phone still didnt come to life. So guess its motherboard KO dy.. Age was 4 years. No games on it so the phone was not on heavy usage or abused, just regular netflix/youtube,facebook/online shopping and internet browsing. Quite disappointing for it to suddenly die like that. Didnt show any symptoms as well. Was still snappy and lag-free up until the day it died out of the blue. funnily the spare F1 died few months earlier than that, suspect corrupted memory hardware, either ram/rom. Because the phone will keep restarting into boot menu, and after wiping also doesnt fix it. but this phone was abused kaw2 by my brother, heavy gamer and phone dropped like nobody business so i cant say much as to its quality. both F1 bought same time in December 2018, so should be same batch. Batch issue? Anyway, now planning to get F4 for her. Thoughts on this? |

I noticed my power button started to sink a bit inside. Its not the physical button but the button that is connected to the motherboard. Anyone else facing this issue as well?
The power buttons def dont make the clicking sounds like the volume buttons anymore when pressed anymore. |

Planning to change the battery as well for the second time. phone prices are okay actually, considering the technology they bringsNew phone prices now like shiat. even 5G phones are available for midrange bought and use what you can afford, the best solution battery wise, you can opt for bigger capacity options but make sure it is from reputable 3rd party brand |

Bought the phyiscal button from shopee and replace ownself. Luckily did not buy the ribbon as the ribbon was fine all along since the volume rocker was working as it should
This is the old button: ![]() The middle sponge bit completely wiped clean thats why the button was sinking into the phone from the back housing This post has been edited by sp6068: May 23 2023, 09:24 PM |

My F1 died just before hari raya without any warning at all. it was a good phone. been using it since 2018 iinm. bought second hand from fb market place.
was using it as back up phone for almost 2 years. my redmi note 11 kaput because of water damage (using it while doing food panda delivery on heavy rain). even i use the waterproof case, somehow the water managed to get inside. i've replace my poco f1 lcd screen 3 times, all because of my son. he used it to watch youtube kids and you guys know kids right. throw here and there. before it suddenly died, last lcd replacement have major ghost touch issue but i endured it for almost 4 to 5 months just to save money to buy redmi note 12. |
