My quantum cards also got approved yesterday morning, apply through Ringgitplus on 16/8.

If the cards already appeared in my PBe, does it mean its already issued? Meaning safe fom charging service tax?

My supp statement date is 28 and i put my email in the form. But i haven't got the statement yet, only principal statement. Suppose to get both statement already right?

I think so. Card numbers already out, deemed issued. I think you can even use it on sites that don't need the CVV2 thingy.

I got my e-statement 1 day after the statement date. You can try check PBe.

IVR said approved but haven't appeared in my PBe . Need to call up CS later d tsk... I don't mind paying for SST, if SST I don't want pay for the QMV =/

Spend RM500 at Parkson, Aeon Dept, Metrojaya, Watson's (some outlets only) or buy 2 Disneyland tickets already enough to cover SST RM25 for Quantum Visa.

Talked to CS and confirmed approved. Card should be on the way 😂.

I still like QMC better... charge to BP then can use it on all areas.

wait till 28 Sep for the "1st" statement

from my checking, any partial statement cycle <21 days will not get statement-ed. it will be temporary put on-hold until next full cycle, which in your case is 28 Sep.

cb-wise, need to file a dispute with PBB to get back the cb within the period of partial statement cycle.

CS will ask you to wait until 28 Sep statement is generated then only they recalculate the cb differences:

1) partial cycle: approval date until 28 Aug (no statement) <-- missing, to recalculate
2) full cycle: 29 Aug until 28 Sep (statement) but max cb RM30 (from approval date until 28 Sep)

Don't always rely on BP especially on weekends and public holidays.

Well yeah, noted it might fail at times. But I have back up cards to use. BP is primary for me now.

EDIT: After chasing for the approval... I just realized as I'm existing VS user, the Quantum will follow VS renew date right? In this case even if approved after 1/9 I should not be charged since my renewal is follow my VS?

My MBB cards all follow the oldest one...

PB VS and Quantum (V&M) different expiry date, not like Maybank's.

PBB is allowed to keep quantum master card only

Still not sure on Universal Studios Singapore, Legoland Iskandar, Disneyland HK, Sunway Lagoon etc.
