I am just use aerosol spray, hopefully the mist from it can go through any small spaces which are not visible underneath.

hi guys minor update...got my car

had to go thru flood just now... rclxub.gif KL straight to Tek Ming Sunway to replace basic black iron rim to sport rims

got balancing alignment done but after that .. car was vibrating when i release gas pedal

not sure if the rims issue or something else

by the time i got home in subang - strange noise from the engine bay

Anyway m going to proton spare parts to buy 1677 belt and tentioner an other stuff tomorrow
and send to my mechanic to deal with all the engine issues and any other conundrums that might pop up.

Btw how do i upload video ...

not all mechanics know well about proton campro engine, hopefully yours are really good at it. Things to observe are, iafm knocking sound, rocker gasket, purge canister sound, body throttle and some others sort of sensor.

hey guys, ayam gonna be a 2019 persona owner soon(loan approved waiting for car to arrive) and I don't see an owner's club for it so i assume all persona versions' owners follow this club right here? not sure if i'm in the right place sweat.gif


SA say waiting list very long probably take mid-late July baru dapat, the wait is so agonizing bangwall.gif

as you got a 2nd car, you need to go workshop for detail inspection. / checkup.

this is a basic steps after getting a used car.

i hope the flood is not high. not advisable to drive thru flood unless from a safe flood height.

I got a feel the vibration is due to rubber engine mounting when at low rpm or idling. The infamous noise of our persona usually came from any of this either iafm, purge canister or belt retention. The mechanic can tell you which of it need to be care of. Good luck.

Spare parts 690
Mechanic today 515
Tint 680
Rm3217

Mounting, tentioner, belt, new rotor, brake pads front and back.
Engine oil, at oil, brake oil, thermostat, fuel filter,tint at ss15. Enjine Gasket changed....

Thank you for all your inputs ya...

Mechanic said no worries butterfly didn't break, engine is fine now...purring like a kitten......yahoooo

The car is superb and solid...

Next project.... Osram H4 night breaker and new headlamps or polish headlamps....

Osram H4 night breaker not lasting and usually burnt within 1 year. Suggest to get GE Megalight Ultra 130% which is lasting. Bought mine on early year 2017 and still ok, been night drive outstation few times.

I'm saving up for PIAA 3K LED bulb. You might want to consider that. Just launch, RM850 for H4.
