is it when u accidentally let go too much clutch then clutch in again RPM jump?
*
No. This happens while car is already in motion but at low RPM. The RPM may just suddenly increase or drop causing the car to jerk.

Do u feel that SV brakes (additional 2 disk brakes) feels better than B-line, M-line on braking power?  cool2.gif
*
First time owner of Persona so have no experience with B-line or whatever line. Honestly, I don't even know what line mine is. LOL!

Mine is all-round discs. So far, feel braking is adequate. Certainly better than my previous Saga LMST which had rear drums.

Nope only the front springs are interchangeable between persona and satria neo CPS. The rear is different. the front will be roughly 1" lower after u swap neo springs in.

mine is M-line..2009 Persona..any suggestion where can I find the double layer servo brake & where can I install this thing?
*
Can find on mudah.. search for brake servo VIRS. around RM250 excluding brake fluids which u need to buy urself.. Any workshop that knows how to repair engine can install, its a simple task of switching it only. Downside is if u have a Front strut bar then it will be pressing against the bar.

Hi all. New in here. Have looked for existing threads on my questions but can't seem to find anything.

Anyway, is there a thread for Persona SV, or SV owners also in here?

I have a 2014 Persona SV (M), low mileage, just past 29, 900km.

Since the first day I got my car, I noticed the engine randomly revs up to 2 thousand plus, even when stationary and at idle. After a few years, the frequency has did down so now happens very infrequently.

Another issue is that at low revs, the car jerks randomly. So then going usually at slow speed, low rpm, the car jerks. What happens is it suddenly revs up and dies down so the car goes fast slow fast and runs jerkily.

Last perennial problem is the steering column vibrates and rattles annoyingly. Usually it idle on neutral, and also when running at low to medium speeds.

Does anyone else face these problems? Is it just isolated or many owners having these issues?

Thank you.

Check your MAP sensor. Might require cleaning.

Yes definitely. Drove H line before.. definitely felt much more better. But it could be due to H line using a bigger brake servo and has EBD built in.

hahaha.. then use lowered rear springs and roll ur fender out so the tire doesnt scratch the body (only if u upgraded to wider tires such as 205 and above).

Just use a throttle body spray cleaner to clean the MAP sensor. The degreaser liquid if fast drying. Let the cleaned MAP sensor to dry itself before re-installing.

MAP sensor location. Old cars use MAF = Mass Air Flow sensor. Newer gen cars uses MAP = Manifold Absolute Pressure sensor. Persona use MAP.
