Monthly normally to reach 10k:

PBB VS 633.85
PBB QM 600
MBB FCB 2500
SCB JOP 2500
SCB LFC 1500

Balance with HLB Fortune (1%CB) or MBB MUVI (5xTP if Man U wins) or HSBC VS (5x points equivalent to 1.67% for RM3k spend).

I change the composition every month depending on whether I use the card directly to get the CB, promotions or need to hit a particular target.

My husband and I have almost identical card inventory so it gives us 20k per month on BP for family expenses.
*
For HSBC VS, the point can use to convert to cashback? Minimum must hit RM3k per month only can get cashback?

You can use BigPay card to tap in and out MRT station too. It was just launched last week. The fare will be the same discounted rate as Ezlink card fare. So you don't need to pay SGD5 to buy the Ezlink card. Just use BigPay card or any contactless Mastercard to take your train rides or bus rides. Download the SimplyGo app and add your card to get notified on your transactions.
*
Wow, they accept foreign card too.. good to know that.. thanks for ur info, I will need to upgrade my bigpay card to contactless b4 I go Singapore in June then

Dear all, have you guys tried to use BP in China? Is it the same like HK where there is double currency conversion?
*
I used it b4, the merchant didn’t asked what currency to use.. then he slot in my card into the machine n the txn went through without pin or signature.. also not wave..

My bigpay shown pending with RMB amount.. but when I come back, it settled in MYR. The rate is as per the credit card slip.. ended up it is more expensive than I pay with cash.. extra RM9 as per the currency for RM260 payment

In China, depending on which city you are in, Mastercard and Visa card acceptance is very low. If card is accepted, many times it's Union Pay. And also do take note that there may be a fee of about 3% charge if you use credit card. So it seems like your RM9 is about 3% of the RM260 you paid.

So I personally wouldn't use BigPay in China. I'll use mostly cash, sometimes Wechat Pay or Union Pay card.
*
Nope, the RM9 is not 3%, it is the difference btw the rate.. when txn Pending time, it shown the currency is CNY410 and pending settle at bigpay rate of RM251.. the credit card slip that given by the shop is shown as CNY410 and bottom shown their exchange rate with MYR amount of RM260.. so, with the display in my BigPay app, ie CNY410, I thought they charge in CNY since they didn’t ask me what currency I want, but after few days, it was settled as RM260 without the reference of the CNY amount.

N 1 thing I feel weird is the amount is more than RM250, how come the payment can go through without pin or signature.. they didn’t ask me to sign, just give me the customer copy slip.. n it is not paywave also..

rclxm9.gif tq for the great news!

now to focus on HLB card, since time-sensitive heheh
hope mamamia's post works for BigPay topup.  drool.gif

What cashback u r expecting? For me I’m using HOB MACH, I still get 0.2% cashback even I convert the txn to FPP

hi after I read thru many post n articles, i decided to go for bp. however i am still a bit confuse on the part that its a prepaid card but at the same time a master card, in such case, can a student without income get a bp? and would bp incur less charges should transfer fund to another bp accounts reside in overseas? normally withdrawal via atm at overseas cost rm10, not sure if there is any other charges since no breakdown of detail, it might have included in the fc exchange.
*
No income proof required, just need IC and address in Malaysia

For peer to peer transfer, no charges..

Oversea atm withdrawal is RM10 by bigpay, oversea ATM might change u withdrawal fee too.. this should show on atm screen b4 u proceed to withdraw

U get 0.2% CB for reloading Bigpay using  HLB Mach?
*
Yes

DID the same as mamamia using Mach and got the 1%  online transactions' CB for BP reloads. Converted full outstanding (BP and others) to FPP.
mamamia should I be getting the 0.2% CB on top of the 1% for online trx category?
*
My HLB MACH is trendsetters, no online cashback, so I will get the 0.2% for retail cashback.. so, ur one d get 1% online cashback, u won’t get extra 0.2%

Hi im travelling to Jakarta soon, was planning to take the route to withdraw money for my stay and trip there.

Based on my reading there is a CIMB ATM machine available, as noted there is no charges for the withdrawal? and the maximum of withdrawal is RM400?

If that so im only limited to withdraw only RM400 or I just do multiple times? Hence charges will implement at the second time ?

Your advice is much appreciated and thanks in advance.

Oversea atm withdrawal is RM10 per withdrawal..

Is it good idea to pay taobao purchases with BP or other method? I paid RM 75.94 for RMB121 item using BP, exchange rate RMB 1 = RM 0.627 seems high..
*
I will use boost instead.. BigPay is 3% while boost is 1.5% service charge..

Btw, when u pay with BP, u use app or use desktop? Bcoz as I know, app will convert to RM for u to pay.. u can’t enjoy the low rate by BP..
