your case do seems rare indeed, with the "unconventional" description for a typical p2p transfer (as claimed by bigpay). probably bigpay engineer was doing backend patching or someone did wrong action and took effect at your gf's bigpay acct or whatnot.

definitely they need to drill deeper and investigate this error to find out the root cause (if they havent).

haha agree.. If due to human intention then it will be a legal case.
Previously i have some experience in banking line where there is a few people did a case where they reroute telegraphic transfer from customer to their own account. Everything is recorded in system and the employee get caught red handed. Get sack and not sure is there legal action been taken or not.
Study abroad also can't think about this thing all using system and easily tracked on this wrong doing and they still do.
Same thing i guess could happen to BP, if they track back system log, they can easily tracked down the issue and is there any manual job involved(human).
I guess after all BP system should similar as banking one.

There's another report stolen or missing function upon freezing card. Not sure haven't tried any transactions while freezing card.

Freezing means cannot use at all even somebody gets a hold on your physical card?

else, it'd be a 1-way function to FREEZE-REPLACE rather than temporary suspension (FREEZE-SUSPEND-REPLACE)

for certain petrol pump such as petron and petronas, you can select at the pump what amount/how many liters you want to pump before you slot in your card. Then the exact amount will be charged and not RM200

The BigPrepaid having this freeze button but web based, I did try this and it will be changed tl unfreeze button after you freezed the card. I'm not sure if this works the same as in BP apps.

Someone willing to be experimental mice?

Just updated, looking into it to spot the difference.

I think the team is pushing hard to update every single successful debugging, foresee there will be quite frequent updates to crystalize the gem.

Yes, freeze and unfreeze to top up, then freeze back while investigation is ongoing.

i see, then it will be bigpay internal record that will have that RM60 transaction, the same as the RM60 deducted from your GF's account
no idea how the transactions can be hidden from app transaction history, just wait for BP investigation

imo, not hidden. just not shown on front-end app for non-relevant transactions.

in backend system, there could be many records. just those relevant to users are shown.

anyhow, only bigpay can do thorough audit on what went wrong.

For those who wanna keep track of their money in BP, just do once recalculate one by one and check the balance is tally with the balance shown above or not.
After that you just need to write down the final transaction and balance.
If any additional transaction, you just need to subtract or add to your last stored balance and check again the final balance whether correct or not.
This will save your time to check and balance rather than everytime extract excel with over 100 of transactions need to be calculated again.
