My personal opinion - I don't do any coating since they cost a lot and they don't protect it from stone dent/stone chip unless you really like to see ur car shiny shiny. You still have to wash your car weekly, just that with coating it's easier.

Also, coating does not protect against water mark and bird's dropping. Still need to wipe/clean if kena water.

Will go for repaint down the road and do wax/polish yearly.

If budget allows, strongly to do it once. Today I just perform my first car wash, surprisingly is so easy to clean up the dirt by just water spray with a little water pressure.. Happy with the coating.

True that.. A good coating sure makes washing and drying easier.

I get the same experience after my DIY work.. Washing is much easier and I'm basically just passing the wash cloth over the car.. No harsh scrubbing. In fact, majority of the dirt comes off from the initial hosing down with just water...(Thinking of a foam gun.. hmm.gif). Drying is easier too as most of the water just beads right off... Just recently, had bird poop on it for a couple days.. Simply sprayed some water on it and it came off using tissue.. So now, I bought a small spray bottle (filled with water and very little shampoo) and that stays permanently in the car.

Mine's not the super smooth or baby's bum feels.. Once I'm done using up current products leftovers, will experiment in future with other consumer grade products, try to achieve that.. Was tempted to try out those DIY "9H ceramic coating liquid bottles thingy", that's the rage.. But based off certain reviews.. Higher chance it'd ruin the car's paint than protect it.

Let me know if u install the tint and feedback the result.  biggrin.gif

considering their coating. so far i found they are the only one using spray gun to coat. the rest using manual hand wipe. not sure which one better.

No regret on my car with ceramic pro coating, it looks stunning. especially for my Snow White, good coating will protect my white color from turning yellowish. Plus saving money on polish and wax.

See my response below..  smile.gif
Wipers juddering is most likely from dirt trapped on the blades.. Inhibiting the wiping. Many people drive, can wipe birdshit off the car immediately, but most don't bother to clean their blades.  nod.gif.. Been using Rain-X on four cars for about 6 years already.. Not a single issue.. Buy original, apply properly and non-issue.. The coating will wear off by itself. Usually around the 6 months mark and gone completely in about a year.. I've even used it in a bathroom mirror.. Just cuz.. whistling.gif .. Okay. There's a method of applying, curing and buffing it off. Rain-X is a very popular product over the years and as such, won't be highly recommended if it wasn't. I wouldn't trust my windshields with any other repellent brand.

Eh bro, can the Rain-x be applied on side, rear and side mirrors with signal?

That wats always make me think that Malaysia Mazda SC has no “standard”

5W-40 fully syn should be RM110 in GST era
0W-30 fully syn should be RM220 in GST era

You can choose either 2, but some SC refuse to provide one or another for petrol variants.

As for 2.2D, 0W-30 should be norm according to Bermaz guideline.

Ahh.. White.. Looks stunning but I wouldn't dare go for it due to its luxury maintenance requirements.. notworthy.gif Owners of white should definitely look into the really good coatings and or PPF for sure.. Less hassles afterwards..

No idea, but I'm guessing if it has an LED bulb and that burnt out, it's wear and tear ..so borne by us? .. But if it's the mechanism or electronics behind it.. Under warranty.

Interesting.. I was made to think that fully 0W-30 would be given as free service for Diesel.. But during my first service at a dealer (not Bermaz branch), they said only semi- is given free and must top up for fully...Forgotten which they used then.. Can those heading to Bermaz branches later, confirm which is which. Even better, get a printout copy of maintenance schedule and listings.. Thanks.

So the "free 3 years (60K km) service" does not include the fully syn oil ya? Need to top up? What oil to they give for free and how long can that oil lasts?

Depends on the mileage. I stick with semi usually cause my mileage is low. Don't even reach 10k km per year sweat.gif Usually duration will outlast the mileage for me so I change once every 6 months.

Never used that product... Been Rain-X from day one.. Use on all.. Costs RM2x per 207ml bottle. One bottle can be used on the whole car at least 3 times.. So if 6 months each.. That's almost 2 years.. This is with me applying minimum 2 passes on the windscreen.. 3 passes if I'm feeling generous for the and allow to cure. Just close cover tight and store in a cool dry place.. Don't ever store it in your car, especially boot area. It contains harsh chemicals and WILL swell it's container due to heat. True story.

Edit: Rain-X also has an interior only anti-fog (can use for bathroom mirrors too) and windshield wiper fluids addictive.. Mix the latter with water inside the wiper fluid container and let it pump on the screen.. Haven't used this method, but it's a less hassle way to get some repelling effect without using the original. Of course, this won't last as long or cover the entire windscreen as the original will.

It's free for semi syn oil. If you want to change to full syn oil, you have to top up.

White not suitable to apply film wor, advice from ceramic pro as it will look awful when the film turned yellowish after sometime.
