Hi guys, I just went to do "idle tuning" last weekend with Sideq (To be precise he wasn't there but his staff Khairil was there. Very friendly and helpful guy). Gonna share with you guys. I will try to explain it based on what I know so feel free to correct me.

No wo. Initially a bit skeptical to go for idle tuning, so didn't even consider ECU remap. Now will probably give it a try. Maybe end of the year laugh.gif

I am driving a 2.2D AWD but I do not have the problem you described and also when slowing down at traffic junctions and/or coasting down the elevated highway ramp. I am from Penang island. I have been taking the longer route; the new elevated expressway leading to the 2nd Penang Bridge and Pantai Dalam/Permatang Laut expressway, to get home, and to work since I took delivery of the car. The power delivery is so smooth and it is very addictive. BTW, I used Shell and I am getting an average fuel consumption of 14.1km/liter for town use. Any 2.2D owners can share your fuel consumption?
*
True and as mentioned, I've only encountered it a few times despite the car being a daily driver. It's hard to explain the circumstances when it occurs. But I know it's when going downhill. Otherwise.. Smooth.

That's only 1 over millions of diesel CX-5 sold in the world. There's warranty and if it's anything serious I believe Mazda will do a mass recall.

Good share! Personally, I'm waiting till after warranty for such tweaks. Giving potential issues as below and the cost of an engine replacement. Too risky for me to tempt Mazda Malaysia with warranty claims.
Was aware of this from last year or so. So far, it appears to be an issue in Thailand and Taiwan. But mostly Taiwan. Here's how I see it.. The diesel engine launched just 2 years ago in Malaysia and I don't think anyone has driven over 100k km just yet. So If we experience one or 2 cases here from older owners, I'll still be within warranty. We diesel owners just have to band together and file a large lawsuit against Mazda Malaysia (as the Taiwanese are doing), particularly if Mazda's refused to recall the vehicles and permanently fix the issue.

Bermaz 2.2 diesel Mazda 6 and CX5 test unit both above 100k to 200k km, they haven't found any issue yet. Touch wood

Hi guys, which service centre is recommended for service in Klang Valley? Going for 1000km service soon.

Anyone tried Persada Auto (Puchong) or Province Auto (Puchong) before?

As you know that the car coating is getting common, here would like to conduct this survey for the public knowledge especially as the reference for the car owner looking for the coating.

After submission, you will able to view the survey result.

Your survey is broken.. Choosing "No" doesn't trigger any response and no submit button. Also, better off leaving as Yes/No.. Not all polish and or wax.. some do nothing or there's PPF or other wraps.

As mentioned per subject, this survey is only applicable for paint coating only.
