Doesn't matter even if they were a bunch of foreigners and/or Malaysians. It's a public hangout area and the public were hanging out. As long as it's controlled chaos or minimal fuss.. Tis is not uncommon. Its cultivated since independent and our gov did nothing (in fact encourage it) about it.

Oh I'm aware.. Been here awhile and came from a place where we grew up in a multiracial society and never really saw our individual races or religion. Moving here and wow.. It's like a daily issue.. Work, home, politics, place of worship, schools etc.. It boggles my mind the amount of energy some people have and focus on such negativity. If only such energies are fed into positivity instead. The country, nay the world, will be a much better place. You are correct to say that it's up to us. Remember, children don't see color until an adult points it out to them.

well.... if you are feeling sensitive and full of assumption its all up to you... I lived in a racial diversified environment since kindergarten... and I can even speak this same sentence in front of my Malay frens and we are still all good... heck... i even still playing in an amateur football club with malays and indians as my teammates... and I'm the only chinese in the team...

to be fair whats so bad about speaking about the truth... if there are angmoh/expat/foreigners lepak in Grandeur labs... I will also say "woah... there's angmoh/expat/ foreigners lepak usually" if there are other races saying the same thing... i never feel anything from the sentence though... and the same thought shared among my racially diversified frens....

the matter is whatever race that lepak there played no role in your story line, they are just local families, unless they are bunch of foreign nationals or visitors from overseas.

the fact that you highlighted them, shows how we all brought up in our society, i,e, race 1st, everything else secondary.

in fact for the past one month, our headlines are all about race issue, from the what ICREXX thing to USJ templer rioting. of course all political motivated and by the one and only party that good at this.
and the sadder part is, they are not even care abt race and religion, they just care if their bums will sit in kajang prisons.

if they care so much about race and religion, they wont steal rob cheat so much money only to benefit themselves.

Usually they will widen the road first, then close the middle road for piling.

Widening road works from Meru also almost complete. Very convenient now.
