i dunno cos this is my 1st dell. but can see there is some backlight bleeding around the edge of the screen. only noticeable when it's dark screen. i remember my neighbours 17" dell lcd also had this problem. however my bro's 19" viewsonic lcd had no such problems. but still oklah considering the cheap price. color more or less the same as viewsonic.

Does gfx card have any impact on monitor's performance? I have an Asus 8600GT DDR3, am thinking of getting either 19" or 20" samsung widescreen. Advice please, thanx

It is the other way around. Monitor size due to their resolution, has impact on your gaming performance.

yeah, the lower the resolution the better fps u will get lor. but if u get a lcd monitor then u're more or less stuck at native reso. anything lower than native reso, it'll become blur.

LG monitor has some serious backlight bleeding, very annoying when watch movies and playing games.

don't worry though, it's not very obvious. really great monitor at the price.

guys wat is the usual brightness and contrast level that u guys used for the 19inch and 22 inch dell?...i'm testing the 19 inch now at 75 it seems like 2 bright for surfing but nice for movies

i'm putting brightness at 40 and contrast at 75.

15 sounds very low, what monitor are you using? when I have it 15, it looks quite dim

My dell setting quite low too Brightness 25, contrast 66

my another benQ 20" set even lower, but still brighter than my dell...zzz

can support the native resolution, no worries.

Just confirmed my order of 2707WFP yesterday and they told me will arrive in 3 days dunno it's true or not
