2232bw n 226bw price the same when i bought 2232bw at digital mall
what does the article says?only difference i see is 32bw whole monitor black ,26bw bottom silver color?

I think the 2232Bw and the 226bw are the same.
But comparing to 2232Gw is different, which I think is mainly due to the glossy screen.

This shouldn't be a forum for samsung and dell panel fanbois.

Actually viewsonic for certain models has a zero dead pixel guarantee which is quite hard to find among all the other manufacturers which might be something you might want to consider when buying a new lcd screen. Although, don't take me for my word find out from the salesperson/website whether that particular model is covered by the warranty.

As for that actual model itself, you will have to look up the reviews for it.

I'm personally using a viewsonic 2025wm and i'm happy with the performance (but planning an upgrade soon).

Depends on which dell 19" . You won't buy it in your whole life ? I already got a unit myself and typing on it now laugh.gif . Picture and color quality ? It's assurance . Gaming with PC and x360 , even PC tasking is a charm working on this monitor . Have you being phobia where a viewsonic LCD drops upon you while you're sleeping ? No offense to the joke . tongue.gif

1. As far as i know there is no samsung 226dw, do you mean bw?
2. You can't say "more better", say "which is better". The more is redundant.
3. The question you asked has been debated over the last few pages. Don't be so lazy that you can't even go back 1 page to find out the answer to your question.

Yeah kinda hard to answer that Question. For example some prefer matte screen while some prefer glossy screen. U can google for their performance, but to judge which one is better i think its better for u to test ir urself smile.gif

Bro , unfortunately no . Playing at the native resolution is just overkill for the poor 8600GT . Without playing the game beforehand ,as we know , Lost Planet is totally an unoptimized PC port . Applying AA means further death . sad.gif

Hi guys, I just got my benq 24". Any software or tuning guides to recommend? The color setting when I plug in a ps2 on component is totally screwed (too dark).

And any player with superior scaling feature (using mpc)? The world is so pixelated suddenly.

Does the Dell E228WFP Widescreen support 1:1 Ratio? Can't find any info for that.

If you own an nvidia card it doesn't matter cos 1:1 ratio is supported in the driver.

Woohoo! Lucky I own a GeForce 7950 GT!!!

cool.... might be getting a pair of those hopefully before the end of next month.

Oh, and Vista sucks for Dual-Screen....... have to use a 3rd party app to get back the Dual-View functionality like the XP nVidia Drivers.......

Nope, I'm using the native vista nvidia drivers to get dual screen functionality. the nvidia control panel is exactly the same in vista as it was in XP. Been running my dual screen set up for quite a few months now on vista without any problems.

Although, blacktrix, you posted a while back in Q&A that you can choose to accelerate one monitor so as not to drain GC resources. Mind telling me how? Using ultramon?

I dunno about UltraMon....... but last time in XP, they gave alot more options in the nView panel........

Alot of options in the Vista version of the nVidia drivers are missing compared to the XP one...... No different backgrounds on each monitor, no one button switch to other screen, no maximize to full screen option....... lots of stuff that I loved about the nVidia drivers.

I just upgraded to Vista 2 days ago, so still learning..... I also just installed UltraMon to have my different backgrounds, but don't use it for anything else....... will have to delve deeper in the menus and I'll get back to ya on that.

Thats the funny thing, i never had all those shizzle options in my xp drivers. So I always assumed you never got that functionality with xp. hmm.gif

In fact, I'm playing with my display drivers on my xp laptop atm and it looks exactly the same as my vista desktop.

edit: actually scratch that. I do remember the old nview menu - you could do stuff like adjust keystone settings but that was back when I was on my geforce ti4600. I assumed they got rid of that functionality in the later drivers. Maybe i need to play around a little more with the drivers as well.

I just purchase the Hp w2207 LCD, and I have to say, the monitor is outstanding. Just bofore, I was using the Samsung 226bw (S-Panel).
From my eyes, the performance of the w2207 seems to be better in every way.
It got hardly no back-lit beeding. The Black is really black. The color is deeper. The screen is viewable at a wide angle without lost in quality. The stand is very flexible to adjust. Got 1:1.
I'm glad that I changed to this monitor, even though it was the most expensive out of the 22 incher at the shop. So far I've only used it with xbox360 and dvd player through vga.
